I have a medium sized pit bull and thought they were larger. Perfect for small dogs though. But I still use these for my dog - fits perfectly on her kennel cuz she has a bad habit of wanting her way & knocking food & water over. With these, we don't have that issue anymore. I just don't use the silver insert pieces.
