I needed something quick and simple to start the long process of converting them digitally for posterity and then to share them with other members of the family. Along came the Plustek z300. Perfect! Small file size and decent quality at the default 300dpi - ideal for on screen viewing. It is as quick and easy as advertised, 2 seconds per scan, almost all perfect with no adjustments required - just very occasionally one skews, but really not an issue. Very pleased.
