Camo Coll Women's Outdoor UPF 50+ Sun Hat with Mesh Face Mask

This is a well made hat, and delivery was quick! I got "grey" which is very dark, like charcoal. That is my only complaint. It will look cute in the sun though! Don't mind my silly photo, but I figured it would help.

I got it a day early. My pittie, Grim, tried it on first for me! FYI: He has a 23" head (for reference). He's a trooper but I only had it on him long enough to take this pic. It fits my head fine. I like that it has an adjustable chinstrap and closing that you can use if you choose to. The long mesh is great because it doesn't rub on my face when I tighten it. The rim would be considered floppy but it's not too limp (which I like) so it blocks the sun without blocking my field of view. I would like it if the top was as firm as the rim (with the same vents) and not as floppy but it is just one layer of nylon-like polyester with netting inside (between the hat and your head). I suppose that might got hot...so whatev. I would like if the mesh netting that hangs from the rim were not the same color as the hat (I got a blue one) because everything has a bit of a blue haze to it. I did get use to that quickly so its not that big of a deal but if it were white and/or a thinner mesh it would be better. As soon as I put it on, everyone around wanted one. It's comfortable and cute so I like it!

We live in Maine and black flies are horrific, little flying demons straight from the pits of hell itself. The hat works perfectly, it fits well and protects from the flying plagues that swarm. Only complaint, we ordered gray and if this is gray I'm colorblind. It's totally navy blue trying to pose as gray. I won't return it over this however I reallllllllly like gray better than blue. So if hat color doesn't matter than go for it.

Excellent and a great price. Highly recommend. Thank you for making it in pink. Give it a little wash in water to take out the packing scent.

This hat has given me the ability to work out in my yard again!!! We live at the lake and while down at the shore there is a breeze to keep the bugs down, up around the house the mosquitoes are really bad!! Not only does it prevent mosquitoes and no seeums from biting my face and neck but when I had to run to Home Depot I simply rolled the net up onto the top of the brim and found it to be quite dressy!!! Love it!!!!

This is a really well made hat - the top is very well ventilated. One complaint is that I ordered gray, the hat that came was navy blue (not even a color that is offered) - the tag on the wrapping said gray. It is definitely not gray, but I'm going to keep it anyway as I didn't care for any of the other colors. After using this a few times I find that the netting is too fine for letting air pass thru freely definitely good for no see ums but a bit overdone for mosquitos and gnats.

Mesh is so fine it completely distorts and colors view. Not sure if anything can be done to prevent this. Also, there does not seem to be a good way to wear the hat without mesh. It can be rolled up and stuffed inside the hat, but difficult to do in a tidy manner and keep the chin strap down and usable. I may be looking for too much in a single hat...

As someone who has to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, this hat is great. Also fairly good at keeping the bugs away from my face as long as you make sure there's no gap between hat and shirt.
