XDP 6.7L Weldless Dual Radiator Coolant Y-Pipe

This is a million times better than the pos plastic oem. Be prepared for a fight getting the old one off the truck. Take your time removing the clamps. We used a small cut off wheel to cut the plastic clamp. This must be done with care as not to nic the hose. The only thing I did not like for the price was only two large clamps and one small for the lower radiator.Two additional clamps can’t cost that much or just charge a little extra and include them.This will be the last time I had to mess with this issue until the hoses fail. I would have changed them but the truck has 61k miles on it and I didn’t see any damage so I’d recommend if you have a ton of miles on it get new hoses. 👍👍

For what a stock replacement costs, well worth never having to replace again.

I had the same issue as many other people that have a RAM truck with the 6.7L Cummins and the dreaded upper y-pipe issue where the plastic OEM y-pipe becomes brittle and develops pin holes or ruptures. Replacing the plastic y-pipe with this one was fairly easy and once installed my issue with low coolant warnings and having coolant drips in the driveway were a thing the past.

This fit the Upper Y perfectly. No problems. Hardest part was getting the old one off. However, the claim that it fits both upper and lower is false. The smaller port was too small. The old hose just pushes on and falls right out without resistance. The provided clamp didn't fit over that old hose either which meant I couldn't get a good seal. The port going towards the motor also didn't fit. That port is too large. I couldn't get the hose over the lip. When I held the y-pipe next to the old fitting, it was obvious that the port sizes are different.

Liked the idea of coming with three clamps. Y-pipe is solid and looks good. Installed in no time. The plastic y-pipes that Ram put on the radiators are a joke. This one should last a long time.

Parts look very high quality and I haven’t had any issues since the install a few months ago.They original parts were garbage and a pain to get off without damaging factory hoses. But once they were off; it was a snap getting the new parts on and clamps installed.2014 Ram 2500 Cummins.
