Good product, but slightly tedious to get working
Does exactly as is advertised. Can be used for streaming at 4K with HDR from a headless system. With an NVIDIA card it is also possible to create custom resolutions at 4K90 or 4K120 4:4:4 with HDR (might also be possible with AMD cards, but I have not tested this). Within NVIDIA Control Panel you just need to select the 2560x1440 PC resolution and create a custom 3840x2160 90/120Hz based on that. Windows will then detect the Emulator as a monitor with 2560x1440 90/120Hz active resolution but 3840x2160 desktop resolution. This will enable 4K90/120 resolutions in games and stream clients so you can play and stream your desktop in that quality.I had some initial struggles to get this emulator working as some TVs are finicky with regards to ports. For example, I had to specifically clone port 4 on my LG OLED CX as cloning the other ports would lead to the resolution being stuck at 1024x768 when HDR was enabled in Windows. LINDY tech support was very helpful and tested things on their side to help me identify the issue.

This is a lifesaver!
So I have a complicated AV setup. Part of it involves an Nvidia Shield TV feeding a CYP HDBasetT 8x8 matrix and then being distributed to various 4k screens around the house. My problem was that Nvidia would not display in 4k, only 1080p. I know the CYP HDBaseT matrix has no issues with 4k distribution as I also use SkyQ as well as a PC as sources with no problems at all, but Nvidia wouldn't have it! It only showed resolutions up to 1080p as possible with the screens that were linked to the matrix, but would show them as being 4k when linked directly. Given the set of symptoms, it seemed clear there was a HDMI EDID issue, so I tried this. Programming is a bit fiddly, and I messed it up twice, but third time lucky, the programming went through fine, and now I have the Shield outputting in glorious 4k! I like the Shield TV product a lot, it's the best streamer there is, and now that it is displaying in 4k, I don't have to look for an alternative!

Not as tricky to set up as some have said
After reading other reviews I was prepared for the worst, but I found it very quick to program. Worked first time and took at most a few mins. Just read the manual really carefully first.

Finicky setup, but works great
Product seems to have been used, as I needed to reset it out of the box. I wish they use a button to set it up instead of cable plugging/unplugging sequence. However, once it’s setup, it works like a charm. For whoever is faced with “no signal” issue when plugging Samsung TV with Input Plus (HDR) onto a PC, this is the solution! Still feels expensive for such a simple item.

Read the manual
Once it is acctually set up and working it is nice.Though important note. you can't just plug it in and hope for the best. You need to proggramm the emulator with your display first(the manual has the instuctions on how to proggram and to reset). (note dont use any switch or extender when programming, just add headackes you can use those once programmed).

Does what it says UHD 4K-HDR EDID Emulator
I use moonlight gamestream on my main TV connected via the network to my Nvidia gaming laptop sited in a different room, the issue was the main display on the laptop shuts down when the lid is closed. This meant moonlight gamestream could not connect but with this little gem it now can, in glorious 4K UHD HDR, yes supports HDR! Once I'd cloned the EDID of my Sony Bravia UHD TV, Windows 10 added the display and unleashed the power of UHD HDR and streams perfectly over the network. I can now stream and play my games etc.. in UHD HDR. I was thinking of buying a gaming console but with moonlight gamestream and this little gem, I can stream over the network, cable free and play or use my PC as if I were in the same room. Thank you Lindy for this little gem.

HDR works!
I'm using this in with Windows 11 KVM running through an Unraid server. HDR works when using Gamestream/Sunshine and moonlight. Just keep in mind that it's HDMI 2.0 emulator meaning no 120Hz HDR. But 60Hz HDR headless works flawlessly.
