BUT, you need to drill THRU the step plank and use a nut on the underside of a stove bolt or a hex head, you can NOT get a ratchet into the underside of the most rear-ward hole position. You will have exposed hex-head bolts (and a fender washer) on the top of the step. If you use a single plank you can attach from the bottom with lags and just skip the rear hole, but if you use two 6'' planks - like many normal DIY deck-builders do - you won't reach the rearward hole. You also need to supply your own 1/4'' lags to attach the step tread/plank.
