Not well built
Loved the idea of this but parts fall off all the time. Had to tape and glue pieces to keep them from falling off. Wish it was better made.

Bad QC and Bad Customer Support
I paid $254 and the rubber treads came unglued and fell off rims in under 10min of use. Also, the locking screws for the door hatch came unscrewed during its first use. I used email contact as prescribed and received no help in one feeble reply. Donβt waste your money with these promoters. Also, takes twice as long to pickup balls than by hand!

Overall convenient but doesn't turn very well
It does picks up balls very well, but the fact that it can't really make turns makes it a little inconvenient to use...

A true back and shoulder saver ...
Vermont Tennis Ball Roller Mower & HopperLet me say upfront, I was fortunate to have found this product at a discounted price. I am not a tennis coach. I purchased the ball mower to replace a standard 75-ball capacity ball hopper which was used primarily when practicing my serve and doing drills with friends.ASSEMBLY:The Vermont Tennis Ball Roller Mower & Hopper arrived in a relatively small package containing the basket, handlebars, and two extension bars. No tools are required for assembly which goes very quickly.TESTING & MODIFICATIONS:I initially tested the product by chasing a few balls around the living room and foyer to determine whether to keep or return the product. Satisfied that it would actually pick up balls, I started thinking of ways to make it more user-friendly. The handlebars and extension tubes are painted which is fine except when the hopper is inverted to serve as a standup ball basket. I did not like the idea of the painted handlebars scrapping the surface of a hard tennis court. The bars would probably be covered in rust after a few weeks of use as a standup ball basket. I padded the handlebars to protect them from scrapes, abrasions, and sweaty hands. It turned out to be a very good decision. The padded bars are much more comfortable for the hands. I used standard foam padding for 1/2 inch pipe (plumbing section) and some electricians tape. Total cost for supplies a couple of dollars and my time.USE ON THE COURTS:The Vermont Tennis Ball Roller Mower & Hopper is easy to navigate. It rolls along without effort. It turns easily by pivoting on one of the wheels. The hopper is surprisingly easy to flip over and use as a standup ball basket. The basket easily locks in place. I used virtually no energy picking up balls. Normally, I feel beat up after serving and retrieving a couple of baskets of balls. After going through four baskets of balls with the roller mower, I was still fresh. I was amazed at how quickly the practice sessions moved along using the roller mower.CONCLUSION:I am happy with the Vermont Tennis Ball Roller Mower & Hopper. PROS:- No more aches and pains in my back and shoulders.- No more scars on my legs from the ball hopper scraping against my leg.- Easy to assemble.- Lightweight- Easy to maneuver when retrieving balls.- The most petite person could easily handle it with a full load.- Looks fairly well constructed.- Easily converts to a standup ball basket.- Easily fits in the trunk of my compact car without any disassembly. CONS:- The handlebars should be padded.- Lubrication should have been applied to all moving parts.
