I am not much of a nature person so they are not going to get very heavy use really, more city wear so i will be very very upset if they do break on me too quickly as other people have described however i don't think they will. The colour is beautiful and a little less purple and more pinky than in the picture. The make is beautiful and well made. i love the buckles on the back rather than on the side and i love that they have the ability to adjust the calf size. I originally brought the original Hunters however they were quite tight on the top and that was just with thin tights so this was a good compromise so i can keep the jeans. They are a little bit stiff when you first pull them on however they do loosen with time. I brought these for quite a bit less than the 80 odd pounds they wanted for them on the Hunter website and they made it very easy to justify buying them now. I ordered black gloss, classic pair of wellies, very well made, prompt delivery and compared to hunter website they were a bargain.
