2nd gen fit, seems to be the correct seal and pressure setting. No issues after a month.

Great fit and performance
This cap replaced OEM cap on my 2014 Elantra perfectly. My car was due to replace 5 years old cap, the result is noticeable. My car is no longer shaking or the fan needs to be turn on for idle.I can feel the car work way better than before. It was surprise that how radiator cap can affect the whole cr performance. For 1/3 OEM price, this is definitely a great deal.Highly recommend this brand!

Way over pressure
Purchased a radiator and new pressure cap at the same time. Original radiator over pressured and blew out the upper seal. Wanted to ptotect the new radiator with a new pressure cap. Installed the radiator and pressure tested the install. All good. Then tested the new pressure cap and could not get it to relieve pressure. Went to 35psi but should have relieved at 16psi. Tested the original Mitsubishi cap and it only went to 20psi. That was too high so 35psi was a non-starter. Had to go to the autoparts store and paid twice as much but got a cap that tested good and would protect my new radiator. I recommend testing any pressure cap used just to protect your car. Most autoparts stores rent out test sets
