Not an easy read
I found the book difficult to assimilate. Which is why it took me an excessive amount of time to finish. The story is much an epic as the previous novels from Stephen and like them they are at times difficult to put down as difficult to pick up.The first attempt at the series stopped here so I hope I can get on better with the next part

read these. Epic and wonderful. Rates with J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time and Martin's Song of Ice and Fire. This is as good as all of those titles. I envy you if you haven't read it already. and yup, its a complete book series as well!!

it's ok
I'm enjoying reading it but it's so full of angst and intrigue that it's a bit wearing.None of the characters are likeable some are downright evil. But it's holding my interest so I'll keep going to the end of the series.

Brilliant wish they would make into a movie or better a series

Brilliant
Great book but needs to read as part of the whole Gap series. Great continued development of (often difficult) characters and a twisting turning plot that leaves you bewildered (in a good way) at times. Can't wait to read book 4.

Simply brilliant, space opera at its best
The Real Story starts a little light, by the time you get to here in the sequence this is a tale that you just can't put down. Epic, Angus is a brilliantly crafted anti-hero. Fourth time of reading and so pleased to be able to get it on Kindle as the original copies are falling apart.
