Patterns are super for early readers.

Very simple stories that include repetition, which is great for learning and retention. Perfect for my blossoming readers (ages 4 and 6). Bonus, they love that these stories are by Dav Pilkey, who also writes the Dog Man series that is beloved by my 8 year old.

One of my kids favorite books growing up. Guaranteed giggles every time! Nice quality book.

I stumbled upon this at Sam’s Club the other day and bought it for my six-year-old who is in kindergarten and is learning to read. Often times books created for this age group are dry and difficult to stay awake for. Not so with big dogs and little dog. They are funny and adorable and entertaining for both the kids and the adults.
