This is an absolute steal for 185!!
Holy smokes was I blown away, based on other reviews this is definitely hit or miss, but this was actually in like new condition. It doesn’t come with an oem charger, so it can and does get toasty when charging, which for 185$ that is to be expected as an original power adapter is 80$. If you’re looking for something that gets the creative job done without spending a fortune, I couldn’t recommend this more, the battery only had 370 cycles on it, and the health was still at 83%, absolute steal, and this is the best deal I think I’ve ever found. I find its size to be one of the best parts, it can slip into your bag and you won’t see it again.

Save your money and go elsewhere.
The computer itself looks good, however the battery is completely fried. I opened it, it was already dead, I plugged it in, it turned on and I charged it. I left it charging for 5 hours and it only charged to 80%. So I unplugged the charger and turned it on. It died in 3 minutes. Completely dead.I should have done more research before buying it, either I’m going to request the seller gives me a battery for free or I’m returning it and I’ll just buy a newer one from a different seller. The thing is I know people who have iPhone 8’s, iPhone 6’s, and older iPhones, you would think a 2017 MacBook would be able to hold itself together for 8 years, Apple is supposed to best quality but something also tells me that the seller probably buys these computers and sends them out as is without even testing them first to make sure they’re still functional.I was definitely skeptical after reading the reviews and all I can say is if you read this review, do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to get something with better reviews/ratings. Only 54%+/- people gave this a 5⭐️, and 24%+/- gave it a 1⭐️, you’ll have better luck going yo the roulette table and putting all your money on black.Overall, the computer looks good, but it runs like absolute trash. If i can they a new battery i ll be returning it, and now that I think about it, this computer was probably already returned and they just sent it out again hoping the next guy would forget about it.I’ll also delete this review if they send me another battery (or a whole new computer)

A great deal at a bit over $200.00!
My Mac book came to me via the 2-day time frame and it looked brand new! No scratches, and was ready to use! I the updated it to the highest OS I could do and have been using it heavily ever since. It has been over a month now and no issues. 🙂

Bueno
Good. It's a good size, aesthetically pleasing, and it charges for a while, although I had to replace the MCOs because they came with an old version, which slows them down, and you can't download any apps. So, if it's the same as mine... it'll give you a bit of a headache! But it'll fix itself. After that, it works perfectly.

Better than expected
The laptop was in great condition and the battery life is decent. I got the package on time (it needed a signature to the Fedex driver). I am so grateful to this seller.I was debating getting a Windows machine or a Mac, and decided to try my hand at a Macbook. I specifically got this one because even if it is from 2017, it's *relatively* spec'ed out and should be able to handle most tasks with ease. This Macbook powers on / wakes up very quickly. Because it has an Intel chip you will hear the fans running when your throw too many tasks at it, but most of the time they don't. The screen is beautiful and enjoyable to look at. It's very snappy and handles everything without breaking a sweat. This model goes up to MacOS Ventura (13.x.x), which is compatible with a lot of things from the App store. The Intel processor has compatibility with just about everything made for MacOS, and in some cases, some stuff that the M-series chips can't run. Certain Apple apps like Pages install but like some version that is compatible with Ventura.Keep in mind that this unit only has 2 type-c ports. This hasn't been an issue for me because I don't need to plug in too many things. The way around having 2 ports is either using Bluetooth accessories and / or using a USB hub.(Also, for a Macbook, 16gb of RAM may be overkill, so don't let it factor too much into your decision vs other Macbooks which have more ports).I use it as a student who uses Visual Studio and does 3d modeling / printing with apps like Blender. Since day 1 with this laptop, I have had zero regrets, and became even happier with my decision. I hope others will have a similar experience, because it's such a good value.

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD
Well the laptop sucks. I always think reviews are super pessimistic and usually order anyway and have good luck but this time I got the literal worst product ever and worst seller experience ever. Before I even get to the delivery the laptop itself as soon as you open it the fan is going crazy , and the thing overheats super fast literally just from setting up. I’m not a tech girly but I know that’s not right lol Once you get in there’s already a battery service needed notification which is consistent with all the other reviews which I should’ve listened to. I have the MacBook Pro that I bought directly from Apple for $1200 that I would bring to my job as a daycare teacher and I let the kids run all over it and get it wet which ruined it and it still worked and never over heated and I never had a problem with the battery, the screen was just messed up from liquid which is why I opted to just try this. The laptop is not worth the headache I swear yall don’t think it’ll be different for you like I did. Now let’s get into the seller, they are unhelpful and lazy. The package was undeliverable and they refused to contact fedex as the shipper since I couldn’t do it as the recipient, they sent auto messages and kept telling me to return the product even though I did NOT have it I was on the chat with customer service for a week after the expected delivery date. After HOURS of being on the phone with fedex I was finally able to have it shipped to a pick up place.

Excellent Refurbished MacBook!
I was a bit nervous about buying refurbished, but this MacBook is like new! It’s super clean, runs smoothly, and had no scratches or issues. Great value for the money—highly recommend!
