Rowley was always the better friend
I have often allowed my daughter to read "The Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books, however, I was listening to her read out loud recently and was appalled by the stinky attitude, selfishness, and parental disrespect of the usual main character. I gave the books one more shot when ordering this one, and it's much better because Rowley was always a good friend and person in general. However, I will say, all in all, I will never recommend the book series to anyone anymore and no longer allow my daughter to read them. I don't believe they teach good values or guide a child on how to be a good person. There are so many "GOOD BOOKS" out there, why allow any negative into your child's head? Check out a list of books that DO teach good morals and values on "THE GOOD AND THE BEAUTIFUL" website.

This turned out to be the best book Iβve read that was a βdiary ofβ. It was hilarious π and I bet if I where drinking milk π₯ while reading π I would snort it out of my nose ! I donβt regret rating this really great π because it is funny, child friendly, the pictures where funny (especially Gregβs head π) and that the book was really active and the author added lots of action and funny words πππ
