This fire poker is a must for campers! It is easy to store and works great on campfires.

Easy to store and seems fairly sturdy

Bought this one for a gift because we love ours. Nice to have to help manage your fire and nice it retracts for easier storage/transport. We do fires often and have had no issues with sturdiness this far.

This fire poker is great for camping. However, the tack welds that hold the fire poker and the pole are very weak. Easily breakable.

I’ve purchased 4 of these; one for me and three for others once they see mine and try to steal it! Perfect size to keep in the camper. Good price and makes a perfect gift for fellow campers.

Ordered this for the Husband for Father's Day. We often camp with our neighbors and he is the "Fire Guy" but we had a couple days of just us and planned on having a fire. This is the same poker our neighbor had that my husband ooo'd and ahh'd over. Is sturdy and the collapse of the poker is great to fit in our storage compartment.

I've now owned three of these. Great for camping thanks to the collapsible feature. The last one I bought broke on first use. The button was stuck out, then stuck in. It's no longer collapsible.

I like the compactability. It’s got a push button (like an umbrella, sort of) that when depressed, allows you to extend the length. The poking end is holding up well. Unfortunately, the button and shaft are rusting outside, despite being in a covered bin. I will say, however, I live in Florida about 150 yards from salt water so this may hold up better elsewhere. Consider this, but other reviews as well.

Good quality, very sturdy even when extended. Wood handle is as expected.

I really love this and it works well. But the whole tip and hook fell off during the beginning of our camping trip during the second campfire. Perhaps the weld melted? Will buy again and hope for a better outcome.

It is a staple in our camping bins!
