Great book! My youngest and I really enjoyed it. Love how it brought in all different things Norwya is know for. My grandma would tell me stories about trolls and Cod. Happy I own a copy and look forward to gifting more of this book in the future.

I grew up with the d'Aulaire's.I still love them. They will beautifully teach a third generation of our family about our history.

What a great book! Helps kids see they can have amazing adventures and use their imagination even when they are very young.

This is a gorgeous book. I remembered it from my own childhood-- in the elementary school library-- and purchased it for my great niece (age 4.5). I read it aloud to her and she was mesmerized. The art is stunning.
