As I’ve gotten older, I find that I bruise more easily. What used to be a small scratch now often becomes an ugly black-and-blue mark.I’ve been doing a lot of yard work, and have had numerous minor altercations with rose bushes and twigs. I also have a small parrot that’s inclined to nip when he is “hormonal,” which is most of the time. As a result, my arms had several small but conspicuous bruises all summer.One of the claims for Arnica is an ability to reduce bruising. I decided to give it a try. I was familiar with the Boiron brand and reputation, so I ordered the Arnica cream. In less than a day, I got two opportunities to test it, when my parrot nipped me on the cheek and hand. Ordinarily I ice the bites, which reduces bruising somewhat. Today I applied the Arnica cream immediately and generously, hoping for diminished bruising. Instead, there was no bruising at all! Not a mark on my cheek, and only a tiny scratch on my hand.I’m going to share this information with the members of several “parrot owner” groups on Facebook. The Arnica really works, and I consider it a “must have” for anyone with s parrot! It’s great stuff, and I wish I’d had it months ago!

I first heard about arnica from my friend who owns well known aesthetic businesses. Because I bruise easily she recommended arnica in pill form to prevent bruising after my treatments.I recently severely sprained the top of my foot and was looking for solutions for a quick recovery- arnica cream came up and based on what my friend had told me I thought the cream a shot for my foot.Within 30 minutes I noticed a huge difference! I had more motion, less swelling and my bruise started to fade.Upon my research on the cream I came across people using it for the dark circles under their eyes- something I suffer from- so I decided to try it under my eyes. Within 30 minutes I noticed a difference. Yes my dark circles were there, but it seemed like the blood was flowing more in those two areas and they weren’t as bad as they normally are.I saw that this could be used on mosquito bites as well, I haven’t tried it on one yet, but it’s been said to help stop the itch and reduce the inflammation (big plus if you’re allergic to mosquitos like me!)WARNING- People should not use this if they have a ragweed allergy. This stuff is the bomb! I'm 63 years old and work in a physically demanding job, so I deal with muscle pain on a daily basis. I rub this on my sore areas before dressing in the morning and I'm good to go for most of the day. It starts to wear off around mid afternoon, but I get through the rest of the day okay. It also works really fast (5 min or less) has no odor and isn't greasy. I haven't used it for wounds or bruises yet, but my sister has. She broke up a dog fight and her hand got pretty chewed up. She applied this immediately and she saw remarkable healing in just 2 days. It costs slightly more than other topical creams, but I think it works much better and it goes a long way.

Have not experienced any real noticeable effects yet.

Arnica is a great natural remedy for bruises. If applied immediately or shortly after bruising, it does several things - it lessens the length of time you have the bruise, lessens the pain (removing it in a shorter time period than if the bruise is left untreated), and lightens the discoloring. I have used this for years for small and large, deep bruises. The most effective way I've learned to use it is right after bruising, apply a large amount and cover with a bandaid so the arnica soaks into the bruise. You may waste a little this way, but you'll get excellent results!

Bruises did not hurt less or change color faster.

Works as advertised. This cream relieves pain fast! Has a pleasant scent, absorbs very easily, and it is not greasy.
