Easy to put on chunky feet!
My 12 month old is starting to walk a lot and we were looking to buy her first pair of shoes. We've gone through different styles of crocs and those were not easy to slip onto chunky feet and some styles were tight. I purchased new balance size 4 regular and size 4 wide. The size 4 wide fit, but it wasn't easy getting the shoes on. It's hard getting shoes on this girl. She wants to play with it instead of wearing it. Then came these amazing shoes. The stride rite was already wider and it was so easy to slip them onto my daughter's chunky feet. I'm so amazed by how easy it was, I'll definitely buy this brand from now on.Update 1 month later: My daughter has been wearing these for a month now. She walks more confidently than I would have expected in shoes (barefoot is easier) and she brings them to me to put them on her. She likes them, so it's a winner.Update 6 months later: her feet size has grown to around 4.5-5, but these shoes still fit. The downside is that the velcro overtime weakened from all the pulling. My toddler enjoys playing with the velcro. We decided to go up and purchase a 5.5 so it lasts longer. The new shoes are not soft motion, but still a stride rite. She still walks very well, but I think the soft motion was easier for a new walker. It definitely helped her learn to walk with ease.

Perfect flexible sole sneaker for beginning walkers
My daughter just turned 1 & is still cruising & holding onto one finger to walk, & I got her these so we can encourage her to walk since these give her more traction on our wooden indoor floors & will allow her to safely walk outside as well. The soles are very flexible which is recommended for beginning walkers, & the sole isn’t too thick either, which seems to be helping her adjust to walking in sneakers better. I tried a sneaker with a thicker sole & she was kinda walking like Frankenstein😂, so maybe it was too much sole & grip for her to start out with. They are quick to get on & they Velcro which also helps speed up the process of getting them on. I can’t comment on how they wear as of yet, since we have only had these since yesterday. Don’t hesitate to buy for your new walker! Only other thing I can say, is you can find this brand much cheaper at Target, but because my daughter’s feet are so small (size 3), & Target didn’t carry her size, so I got stuck paying basically double Target’s price!😐

Good fit & value
Cute and comfortable for my son’s fat feet. Daycare said he needed hard-soled shoes but I like that these are still flexible as he learns to walk. I got a great price as well!

I don’t know, you must try them. I think the price is to high for this shoes.
I don’t know about the support of the foot. My son doesn’t speak, but the shoes are visible to large and the color not nice and the sutures would came off easily, no tears of openings but overall start to look old after the second time he used them.I bought 2 pairs, different colors so I returned this because didn’t look right. The others are little better and nicer.

Weird shape to the shoe
We love the Stride Rite shoes for LO and usually we can count on the right size to fit right out of the box, however these look and fit oddly. First off, the two shoes 'look' like they're not a left and right but an 'either/or' shoe so it's off putting. They also seem to run narrow, even tho we ordered the wide. I actually held these up to another pair of the exact style and they don't look the same. LO didn't last in these long, but we definitely didn't use them as much as other pairs she owns. They stuck around in her shoe-rotation purely as "last resort" shoes. Not a fan of this particular one.

Great quality
I am very happy with my purchase. I got these for my 11 month old and they fit perfect! They also are flexible and not too clunky which is fantastic.

Stitching unraveling after one week!
We love stride rite for the extra wide options, and the fit of this shoe is perfect, but within one week the threading has started coming out of both shoes! My 20 month old is active, but nothing out of the ordinary. This is unacceptable! Especially for $45 a pair!!! Do not get these shoes!!!!

Perfect for new walkers
These are soft and lightweight for a newly walking baby. My son did so well in these even when he was so wobbly in the beginning. We’ve had them for a month and it’s all he wears. He has them on for several hours a day and he seems to be comfortable in them. They are easy to take off and put on and also adjust well to chubby little feet.

Excellent product.. Perfect fit!
Great product. Fits perfectly if you go by Stride Rite measurement charts. I measured my daughter’s feet according to the guide and went with the size it gave me. She has tiny feet that are long and slender. My only issue is that the Velcro strap is very easy to open so my LO is always managing to open them up and sometimes even gets the shoes off. Other than that I love this product.
