Aminos Essential Amino Acids Powder, EAA & BCAA, Lean Muscle, Energy

Right off the bat the mixed berry taste horrible I would advise you probably should get one that is unflavored. If that is a choice it seems to give me energy and I hadn’t used it for the gym just yet but as I stated it taste bad.

I've tried other Essential Amino Acid powders that were cheaper but they suffered in mixability and flavor. I always seem to come back around to the KION mixed berry product and pay the higher price. EAAs do not taste good or mix very well in liquid but are essential for use in putting on muscle. I can see this product benefiting people that do high endurance workouts or lifting weights. Additionally, older persons in general will have decreased ability to convert proteins they consume into complete amino acid chains in their digestive track. Your body needs these amino acid chains to convert back to proteins to be used for processes throughout your body including muscle repair and growth. My 80 year old Mother-n-Law takes this product every morning and it has strengthened her and has assisted with weight loss of visceral belly fat. I will continue to use this product but hope Kion becomes more competitive with pricing.

This is an unreturnable item so sadly I am stuck with $50 worth of a truly horrible product. When I opened it, it smelled like mold or mildew. Just a nasty smell. Sometimes proteins get that so I gave it a try. OMG! The taste is so bad. It has a terrible sugar free after taste and is just plain nasty. I saw a review (unfortunately after I bought it:) that said it tasted like aspirin and watermelon rinds. Agreed but without the watermelon. I had the berry and the flavoring couldn't compete with the bitter edge. Take a pass and maybe go with the Sports Nutrition Multivitamin powder. Great product and what was I thinking by changing? Stick with reliable!!

Although I did not enjoy the mixed berry, this company has a ton of integrity, and made it right. I will continue to support them. Seems to be a great recovery drink, not sore after a brutal workout! Also I noticed a lot more energy when taking. HOPING for a NON flavored tub so I can add to my protein drinks!

Waayyy too sweet for my liking. I tried adding it to lemonade, pineapple juice with ACV and water. All way too sweet.

Even though I came across some lousy reviews for taste, I tried the Aminos anyway based upon Ben Greenfield’s name and reputation. I wasn’t disappointed. The Mixed Berry Powder is a fine white powder that mixed perfectly with a spoon and has a nice clean taste. I was prepared for some horrific bitterness so I braced myself. However, the taste was a pleasantly sweet, not too much, and I drank it alone with water. This product also gave me a lift and curved my appetite without the jitters I normally experience. The ingredient quantities are propriety. I personally hope to try all of his products one day and recommend this one. I am also grateful for all of his free content.

Fantastic product, not sweet like other electrolyte, amino drinks. i put one scoop in 400-500ml and its not sweet at all. Love the feel and definitely supports recovery
