I wish I would have bought a pair of these years ago. The magnifying glasses and the positioning led lights are like having two extra hands. Iv'e used the glasses for jewelry repair and also checking our dogs for ticks. August is when the baby ticks are born here in Missouri. We call them seed ticks and are hard to see with the naked eye. The eyeglass arms do have a little rubber on them to grip better on your head which is fine for me, however if you have long hair like my wife it does grip a little too well. All the lenses are clear and in good working order. These are not heavy duty glasses and I'm not sure how well they would hold up if you wore them all day like the professional jewelers. I will probably get another pair to leave in my workshop.

I grow orchids. Some of them are miniatures with tiny flowers measured in millimeters. This magnifier allowed me to hand pollinate one of them by freeing up both hands and having strong enough magnification to see where the flower parts actually are! I love having the choices of lenses because it offers versatility. Love the LED lights too - they're bright enough to illuminate the object being viewed. LEDs are adjustable to a certain extent. Headband makes getting up close to object being viewed worry free because I don't have to be concerned about it falling off or getting knocked off.This was meant to be used with one lens at a time. With that said, having an option of using either eye is great because you can figure out which eye is the better one to use for a particular situation.If you want up to 375x magnification, tape the 15x lens with the 25x lens. This is the highest magnification you can get and still be able to view small objects.Awesome product! Fits my needs perfectly!!!I uploaded 2 photos of my miniature orchid, Lepanthopsis astrophora 'Stalky', in bud. Photos were taken with an iPhone 12 Pro Max at 1x zoom. First photo was using the magnifier's 15x magnification lens. Second photo was using the magnifier's 25x magnification lens. The largest bud on the flower stalk (inflorescence) is a little less than 1 mm long.

For the money this seems like a pretty good set for beginners. It was disappointing that the bracket on the light was broken out of the box. Not sure if I will order another one, but it seem to be pretty good for the money.

The lenses are easy to snap in and out and seem to be of good quality, but the only drawback I see right away is that except for the lowest power lens which my eyes can accommodate there is no adjustment for convergence of the eyes so that I can only focus on an object with one eye at a time. It is not a bifocal device which is a serious drawback to it's usefulness

I purchased this item to help me read hallmarks on silver and for inspecting jewelry. They seem to work just fine for both. Item arrived new, in box just as described.

One light didn’t work. Lenses wouldn’t stay seated and fell out. One lens clip popped off frame. Cheap plastic garbage.

Actually, all you have to do is look at the picture and you already know what your getting into.I suspect that if I lived where these are manufactured you could probably find them for around $4 worth of their currency or less.However, it is not a total loss because I needed the lenses for a separate project and not for the nonsense they are advertised for.Now if you want to use them for soldering or jewelry work then have fun trying to adjust for binocular separation because you are in for a headache.The cheapest of materials it was like a prize from a cereal box when they used to come with toys.But as always, I make lemon from lemonade and use the various parts for other things.

The headset is made from cheap feeling ABS plastic. The flashing from the molding process is still present.The focus distance on the higher magnifications is so short that you wont have room for your hands or tools (watchmaking)

I have read a lot of the previous reviews and was a little cautious when ordering these. I had read all the product information and thought worse case I can always return them.I was pleasantly surprised to receive exactly as expected. Yes, the frame was never going to be the best quality for the price and yes it does feel a little bit cheap. However, they have all the functionality as described. Note these are not for use with both eyes at the same time. A broad selection of lenses means you are capable to do all the close-up work without any issues. If you have read the product description these are for close up work. Make sure you understand the focal length of the specific magnification you use. At the highest magnification x25 you will be working at less than an inch from the lens.Could you use these over your glasses yes, but they are awkward and not what they were designed for. The led lights are easy to move to point in the right direction and work independently. You can easily change the batteries if and when needed. I am really pleased that for less than £20 I can now do those fiddly jobs I always found difficult.
