Amazon Basics Exterior Door Knob With Lock, Classic, Easy Installation, Matte Black

As expected, basic and easy to install. Color has come off quite quickly with wear. Fit well and decent value for the price.

I measured as closely as possible, and decided to buy this Amazon Basic door knob. My house doors are from 1978. I took the old out and slid this new one in, took 10 min at most. Then tried to lock and inner lock turn just went around and around, so took 2 long screws back out and re-adjusted long “shank” that goes from one side to the other. WORKS PERFECTLY….PERFECT FIT! It’s my first knob replacement, went so easy, I still can’t believe it! Feels like quality. Oh yes, ALL parts bagged and marked! Has template if drilling the hole to insert, I am astounded for $8. Btw, I’m 69. Happy camper!

It was easy to install. It’s looks really nice. The price was affordable. It seems sturdy and does what it needs to do to open and shut the door.

These door knobs are great quality, especially for how affordable they are. They’re easy to install and I’ve purchased multiple for my husband‘s work, but one of them was faulty and eventually the lock function stopped working. Other than that, I’m very satisfied with the other two that I’ve purchased. We live in an apartment so they fit perfectly for replacing door knobs as a renter.

Love this it came in a matte black that is basically just a subtle black handle it's small and modern looking I got it at a great price on sale for $8 and works very well

Simple, black door knob, great price. Just what I needed.

This door handle looks nice, was easy to install and turns (most of the time) so I can open the door. My complaint is that it sometimes gets stuck but a couple of jiggles and it works just fine. I didn't return because I'm not locked out but it would be nice if I didn't have to jiggle it sometimes (about 1 in 100).

This was a great purchase. I got this for my bathroom. We have multiple bathrooms and seems like my bathroom is the one where my siblings go to the most and leave a mess. I’m the only one that cleans it and it bothers me that no one helps clean it. What I like is that the doorknob is the exact same color as the other one I had so no one noticed I changed it (until one sibling tried to unlock it with their fingernail but they failed). 🤣 The old one was easily unlocked with a coin or fingernail. This doorknob requieres a key to unlock which is why I got it in the first place so no one else can enter but me. #petty 🤣

Se ve bonito el acabado negro, no fue dificil de instalar, igual llame a un cerrajero por que no se como instalarla pero estuvo bien y rapido

Su trabajo es dejar afuera a quien no tiene llave, y lo hace sin titubear, sin dar explicaciones, sin sentirse mal después. Le pedí en secreto que me enseñara el truco y guardó silencio de acero. Cierra perfecto. Le quito una estrella porque me hizo ver que un pomo de puerta pone límites mejor que yo.
