I had a huge mess as the green algae bloomed everywhere. I changed the water and cleaned the filter adjusted the lighting timing and the next morning the algae bloomed in an overabundance. It took 3 water changes and 4 filter cleanings to get it under control. I threw it away but your experience may be different. **Q: Will this harm invertebrates?** A: Nope, not at all.
