Robust Can Crusher
Came in from the USA so took a few weeks to arrive but I new that. Compared to the majority of what else I could find this crusher is robust with plenty of leverage to do the job. Down side is it does not take anything taller than a 330ml coke can as standard and wont do steel food cans. Though with a little bit of pre-squashing I have happily done Redbull and 440ml beer cans.

Useless
Its no good for our size cans, only good for small coke cans! So having got this from export, its too much money to send it back so in the bin it goes. Don't bother unless you just need it for small cans, in which case its probably ok.

ok
ok for small cans not big enough for 440 cans

Awesome!
My second can crusher (first was metal that bent too easy). This is a very solid plastic construction and with the massive leverage handle makes it very easy to crush the cans! I love the way that the cans will drop after crushing (i have a bin located below). Very easy to do and even have the kids doing it also. Safe and reliable, great so far!

Best can crusher ever.
This thing works better than anyone that I have ever had. Metal ones are too flimsy and will twist if not pulled perfectly straight down. The added can catcher is a perfect addition. Only problem is that you can only squash small regular sized can, tall ones won't fit. Can't understand why they didn't make this thing universal, but it sure works good with the small cans.

Fast, easy to use, consistent, and built to last
We have been using this can crusher for 5 years now (since February 2013) and it has performed wonderfully. I researched several of these kinds of can crushers before deciding on this one, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Pros: • It's easy to load — Cans fit easily into the space provided for crushing, and I don't have to take any time aligning it to make sure it's centered or anything like that since the entire platform moves together. • Cans are automatically eject once crushed — We've placed a trash can below the can crusher, and each can conveniently falls right in automatically when we lift the handle back to do another can. • Cans are crushed consistently — Unlike the results I used to get when stomping on cans manually, this crusher gives the same compact crushed can output each time, which makes them easier to handle after being crushed with fewer sharp exposed edges. • It takes little effort to use — Because the design utilizes leverage forces efficiently, it doesn't take much effort at all to crush each can, which is particularly nice to know since my parents aren't getting any younger, and I'm confident that even as they age, they'll never struggle to use this. • It's fast — Because of the things I've mentioned above, it doesn't take long at all to do each can. I can easily do about a dozen cans a minute with this crusher, and could probably do 15 or more per minute if I really focused. • Excellent customer service — I originally purchased this back in June 2010 and had to get a replacement in January 2013. They were courteous and helpful, and walked me through the process. I had my new can crusher by February 2013 and it has been working flawlessly since then. • Built to last — We've used this to crush thousands of cans since we started using it five years ago, and it's never given us any trouble. It works just as well today as it did the day we got it. That's even more impressive considering that we have it installed outside the house, which is admittedly contrary to the manufacturer's recommendation (they advise installing it indoors, such as in a covered garage). Despite the fact that it's been exposed to the elements for five years, which I'm guessing is not what it was designed/intended to withstand, it still works perfectly. Cons: • It's not completely maintenance free — I have to remember to lubricate the guide rods with petroleum jelly at least once a year, or the guide rods could start wearing down the slots in the upper platform, which could permanently damage the crusher. It's no big deal; it takes three minutes to do it, and I only need to do it once a year. I just have to make sure I remember to do it, that's all. • The cans could be crushed a little bit smaller — This can crusher doesn't get them quite as small as I can by stomping on them, but the result is still very compact and I don't mind the difference. In fact, if it really did bother me, I could have just placed a piece of plywood on the base to raise each can a little more during the crushing process, and they'd be that much more crushed. Bottom Line: It's a great value and I'd have no reservations about recommending it to anyone.

Construcción Rígida
A pesar de no ser de metal, el aparato es rígido y tiene unsistema diferente al aplastar las latas que impide salten como sucede en algunos aparatos de lamina.

Solid, easy to use and long lasting
Like others, I was concerned about whether the plastic would hold up as well as metal. I've now had it 4 years and used it every day and it is every bit as solid as the day it arrived. A great unit. Tall cans will not fit in it but I have very few of those and knew of that limitation when I purchased it. There's a slight tilt to the base so the cans simply fall into the container I have placed below it. You do have to push the can in for a fraction of a second until the top part of the crusher grabs it but that's a small trade off for not having to fish the can out once it's crushed. So nice that I no longer have a box piling up with cans waiting to be crushed.
