The adhesive on this tape is amazing. Used it to tape down bathroom rugs to tile flooring. They don't budge!

I got this for adhering an area rug to existing commercial carpet. This tape is STICKY as all get out! In this case, that's very good. I gave 4/5 stars for ease of use only because it mucks up your scissors and they need to be periodically cleaned off. I can't yet speak to how they are to remove, but I'm sure some Goo-Gone could get the job done.

It does exactly what it says.... which is good and bad. I bought a new runner and when to remove the old one. It took major effort to remove it. Not this runner was on top of our carpet. The tape didn't move, I was worried I had ruined the carpet and that my husband would go into melt down. I finally had to get a butter knife and my steamer to slowly (very slowly) get this tape to come up. This process took quite a while. The new runner is one of those washable rugs to I will not be using this with that. I have used this on the cushion mat in front of my sink which is on tile. I have realized when we eventually move that will stay. I know that would come up in pieces if I were to try. So if you're looking for something that you want to stay in place and never move this is your tape. Otherwise you have to put in some major effort to attempt to pull it up. Hopefully you have a steamer handy.

I had 25 people for Thanksgiving. The rug didn't budge. I'm very satisfied.

Does not work as advertise. Sticks fine to carpet if you don't walk on it. Might be fine on a smooth surfaces. Should not be sold as rug to carpet tape.

For years, we were constantly adjusting the positions of our kitchen rugs that are placed over low pile kitchen carpet. Having these rugs in front of the stove, refrigerator, and at the garage entrance greatly saves carpet wear at these high-use points. When we recently purchased new rugs, I looked for some kind of double sided tape that might help to keep the rugs in place. After applying this tape along two opposite sides of each rug, we have not had to adjust the rugs at all. The tape works as advertised, and our rug slipping days are over. I also tested ease of removal, and the rugs can be lifted up off the carpet with no residue on the carpet. The tape stays on the bottom of the rug. We are very satisfied with the performance. The only issue, and it is small, is that, when cutting the tape with scissors, the tape adhesive wants to stick to the scissors. A little bit of goo remover cleaned the scissors nicely. I would recommend wiping the scissors lightly with goo remover before cutting the tape to prevent sticking to the scissors. 😀

Left a very sticky adhesive residue on my carpet that is impossible to remove. Dirt adheres to the residue and my carpet is ruined.

I ordered this tape from an international seller, it arrived promptly and the overall quality of the tape is very good compared to local analogs. Pricing wise it made sense to pay a bit premium to get a quality I wanted.

Helps somewhat. Will have to apply tape again.
