Works well
I find that this tape stick to fabric better than my Collins Wash Away tape but then I have had the Collins for a while. Anyway, this tape sticks to the fabric well and does what I need it to do. The only problem I had was with separating the two rolls of tape. There is a paper between the two but the paper only covers the very center of the tape so it is something of a challenge to separate the rolls. They need to make it a larger devider between the rolls. The only other thing to note is that you can't just rinse this tape out, it needs to go into the washer to remove all the glue. This tape is great for applying zippers and for folding a quarter inch seam allowance. I would buy this again. Just be sure not to use it on something that can't go into the washer.

I bought this on a whim and now it’s one of my favorite notions!
I bought this on a whim when I was learning to make Fannypacks! It worked well then and I was so happy I had it!!Since then, I’ve used it to pattern match a quilt backing (vs Elmer’s Glue which is always in short supply in this household that has two elementary aged children) and I’ve used it to adhere Girl Scout Patches before I sewed them onto vests.I didn’t expect to use it this often, but I’m super pumped I have had it on hand for all of my projects! It’s legit AWESOME.

AVOID THIS TAPE - Ruined Two Titanium Needles
This stuff is extremely difficult to separate from the backing. It sticks VERY well. Have to work in small sections at at time otherwise it will be stuck to everything else around you. We used this on a striped fabric to fold back the raw edge to be top-stitched it on a jacket. At first it looked like it would be great, it held a nice crisp fold along the stripe line, and apart from being a slow process to do it in small sections, it seemed to work...Then we started to sew it on the jacket.Absolute disaster. You cannot sew through this stuff. It gums the needle so fast and so bad that it will literally stick to the bobbin thread and either pull it totally out of the bobbin case, or drop the bobbin completely out of tension AND will cause the needle to un-thread itself. Took forever to just sew down one side of the stripe. After the fourth time it pulled the bobbin out of the case, we could no longer even re-thread that needle as the eye was 1/2 full of gum. Even tried to clean the needle and it absolutely does not come off. Had to put in a new needle to finish the other side of the stripe. Had the exact same experience with that side and had to replace the needle again when it was all done. For reference this happened on a poly/cotton broadcloth, using a middle tier Baby Lock sewing machine with Organ 15X1 HAX1 #90/14 Titanium Flat Shank needles. Even titanium coating was no match for this tape.

Makes tricky sewing procedures much easier
I used this product to install an invisible zipper and then to put in a narrow hem with my coverstitch machine in the dress in the photo. In both cases it led to a marked decrease in ripping and swearing. Not really sticky, but just enough to keep squirmy fabric (velour) in place while being stitched. Did not stick to the machine needle, and my coverstitch machine, in particular, would make a big issue out of this if it did.Makes a professional-appearing project.

Good adhesion
I used this to replace a heavy duty metal zipper in a winter coat. It held beautifully. Did not gum up my machine, and I like that it will wash out. I had ordered a different brand that was not sticky at all. Was very happy that this one worked. Maybe it depends on where the manufacturer stores the tape. Since it’s water soluble it can lose adhesiveness in humid conditions.

This stuff is magic
This stuff sounds too good to be true, but it’s every bit as good as it claims to be. I was assigned to sew a dress from some slinky material that made even my experienced seamstress friends grimace. The tape kept my seams from stretching, with the added benefit of not needing to pin the fabric before sewing. I also used it when putting a zipper in a knit dress, and the zipper stayed beautifully pucker-free. I no longer have a fear of sewing knits, thanks to this stuff. It washed out in the first washing with no problem.

Don't bother
Worked great right out of the package. Was very happy with first time use. I used it in bag making. Less than a week later tried using it with a zipper install and all the stickiness was gone. I used maybe 18 inches of the tape on the first use. Unrolled maybe 24 inches to see if the stickiness started further down the roll but nope all stickiness gone. Went to the second roll. The never-been-used roll and all stickiness was gone. Bummed and feel like i got taken. Anyone have this issue and found a trick to get the stickiness back? My Dollar Tree tape worked better than this. Unfortunately it is out of stock at my store. Unless there's a fix. I have all but maybe 18" of the many yards of this tape left.
