These were the women's size S/M. I am a size 7.5 and these swallow my feet. These are supposed to fit a size 5 on the low end - no possible way. These hung way over the end of my foot. My photos - I show a sock that fits me well against this oversized sock. I also show where my toes end with all the extra material hanging over. And the length against a ruler. What I couldn't show was how loose they fit around my foot. I could have twirled them around in a circle around my foot. Unless you have women's size 9+, I think these would be too big for your feet.

I’ve never taken the time to buy real hiking shoes and hiking socks before. I bought these Merrill socks and much cheaper hiking socks (not cotton) for comparison. The Merrill socks blew them out of the water. They fit perfectly and kept me feeling energized longer and like I could walk forever. I wore them in Acadia National Park and never got sweaty or swollen. They’re worth the extra price.

I'm always looking for sock with adequately thick cushioned soles (balls of feet and heel) for my frequently painful feet. However, these are disappointingly thinner than expected. In general, I've noticed sock prices have gone up over recent years. These turned out not to be the somewhat less pricey alternative that I had hoped for.

I love these socks. My foot is exactly a size 6.5. These socks fit but are not tight. The heel stays in place and they don't slip down into my shoe. There is still plenty of stretch in them so they would fit a larger foot.They are warm.and wick away moisture so my feet stay warm.

These seem like good hiking socks. The elastic at the top is tight enough where it doesn’t fall down and the cushioned toe and heel areas are nice. I was looking for warmer socks so I will be returning these but I would keep if I did long hikes in spring, summer or fall. The only issue is the stitching on one sock. It sticks out strangely and that might get uncomfortable on a long hike but only one sock has it sticking out so drastically.

These are great. Comfortable and breathable even in Texas heat. I got these to use with my hiking boots on a Geology field trip to Ink’s Lake an hour northwest of Austin. We spent two full days climbing through Devils Washtub which was beautiful, scary and warm but I didn’t even notice any heat in my feet which I was worried about. These feel rough to the touch but are workhorses in a boot. I didn’t slide around in my boots and my feet didn’t even hurt by the days end. Worth the investment.

I use these socks for hiking and my job. I'm a nurse and a lot of my job is running around on my feet all shift long. I've been using this brand for over a year now and my feet are happier for it. I have this style in the crew size for hiking and in the quarter size for work. Still no holes and love the cushioned heel and toes. They are thick and warm but not too thick. I don't like the very thick type of socks. Definitely worth the money.

Best socks! I wore these hiking the Narrows in Zion. They kept my feet blister free and dry so quickly! Even hiking through the river with my feet nice and wet, these socks kept my feet comfortable and warm. Other people were complaining about the cold, but I was fine. These are now my favorite socks. I wear them around the house and on my daily hikes and walks with the pup. I've just ordered another set of these socks.

Compré este paquete de calcetines y no fue del todo lo que esperaba.Lo que no me gustó es:1) 1 par de calcetines tiene un defecto ya que el corte es más grande en la parte del dedo pequeño lo que es malo en el calzado porque tiene roce y puede generar ampollas.2) usé los otros 2 pares y me sacaron ampollas en la parte superior del talón.Creo que son bueno para usar mientras estés sin movimiento en tiempo de frío (quizás para usar para acampar) pero. O para senderos de más de 5km.

I'm using these for work and they really help to help my feet not feel super sticky and gross after my 12 hour shift. Because of this, they also seem to keep my shoes smelling fresher for longer.

These socks are great. They do a great job of keeping my feet warm and dry. They are a little bit too big for my size 7 foot but not too big that I can't wear them.

I wear these hiking and around the house. The price is a joke, and the cut and quality is outstanding. Unbeatable all around. Ditto for all Merrell.

They fit well, they look nice, they're warm and they never seem to get holes in them.
