These tongs are one of the best investments I've made for my kitchen in a very, very long time! I love the 'kick stand' feature which keeps my counter relatively free from smears. I do a lot of pressure cooking of meats which makes them unwieldy most times to remove from the pressure cooker because the meat tends to fall apart or away from the bone. These grip well, the silicone 'spoon' portion is a great size and there is a substantial thickness of silicone on the 'spoon' portion. I like the silicone on the handle it, for me, feels like I have more control in handling foods. For storage the locking mechanism is fantastic, easy to release the tongs and brings them together into a well sized utensil for storage.From my experience I highly recommend these as an addition to your kitchen

Pretty good product. The tips have the silicon molded onto the metal. Other tongs I have seen have plastic or silicone ends that are attached to the tongs rather than being molded onto them. I like this way better. They are pretty easy to wash and store. the built in stand works well and is a great idea.Would rather they come as one instead of a set. I don't really need 2 tongs...These have some flex to them when pinched. Kind of like a cheap pair of tweezers, when tongs are closed they can have some slide to them making it harder to accurately pick things up. Annoying but minor. I would buy these again.

I like these tongs for their rubber grip, which makes them easier to handle when cooking/grilling hot foods, and the rubber tipped grips which won't scrape my pans up, but I love the built in "elbows" that keep them from sitting directly on a surface and slopping up my counters or contaminating the edges that will be touching food.As far as "sheerness" goes, to my knowledge, "sheer" means somewhat see-through. These tongs are not see-through at all, they are tongs - they're not meant to be see-through, so I don't know why this would be part of the description. I rate these tongs as a solid 5. Good purchase.

So glad I ordered these Kitchen and Serving Tongs with Built-in Stand. I really like the stainless steel silicone covered handle. I found that these tongs are comfortable to hold because the silicone covered handles are non slip and there is even a place for your thumb and index finger which is perfect when turning over food items in your skillet or indoor grill. Really appreciate that I don't need both hands to unlock it. Just tap the end with the red ring on the counter, the lock is released and the tongs are ready for use. With the high quality rubber tip, I don't have to worry about scratching the non stick surface on my skillets or indoor grill. The built in stand is just a bonus. No spoon rest needed. Highly recommend.

The tips on this are very thick, which makes it difficult to pick up the foods you’re trying to turn or move.

TOTALLY AWESOMENESS! MUST BUY!I would have given these LEGIT sellers a full 6 Stars, but it wasnt an option and I also decided that since you can not dissemble the tongs for easy cleaning, they lose a star, so these guys get a 5/5 rating instead. I really hope they make a version where you can totally take it apart.The tongs with a stand are well designed. I dont have to use napkins or an extra plate for the tongs to rest on. Silicone coating with a high heat rating is also a MUST. Then finally the locks are KEY. Some may dont care, but I hate it when tongs flare out when not in use.One other thing. Their website is from 1999. They really need to update that. I probably should deducted another 0.5 points just for that, but that wouldnt be fair for the product!

I like these tongs, because of their built-in stand that keeps the ends off the counter. The downside that I see, is that the sleeve over the end will allow water & any other liquid or tiny food particles to get lodged underneath & between the metal tong & the sleeve, thus causing bacteria to form, if a person doesn't pay attention. I would also like to see the ends of the tongs not be so thick; as you can't pick up smaller things as easily. When I wash these by hand (I won't put them in the dishwasher because of that potential bacteria problem), I hold them with the ends up & wipe down, so water doesn't get between the metal tongs & the sleeve.

I purchased this set of "Kitchen Tongs," to alleviate the issue of picking up very hot food items. The kitchen tongs performed with absolute excellence and are of high-quality. We especially love the locking feature on the tongs allowing them to set on the kitchen counter with beautiful ease (such a cool feature). The kitchen tongs are a breeze to wash and store easily in our kitchen drawer. I would recommend these to anyone and everyone. Cumplieron con lo que visualmente percibí... las puntas son un poco gruesas y al momento de querer tomar algo de manera delicada para voltearlo, se hace difícil y llegas a lastimar la cobertura, por ejemplo un pescado empanizado...

Muy buena calidad del producto. Le pongo cuatro estrellas porque son un poco cortas. Sería ideal si el paquete incluyera una corta y una más larga
