I don't write many reviews but felt this was warranted. Most battery operated candles fly through batteries- from my experience. I bought these in April and it is now December on the SAME batteries. They turn on every single night and are still bright. As for the look, these are very real looking. They put off a more natural colored light, unlike others which are too orange. I wasn't sure I'd like seeing the "wick", but I really do like the looks of these better than others. I highly recommend them...in fact, I am buying more of these now.

These candles are inside lanterns but out in the cold snowy weather and working well. It has a nice glowing soft white light. The only problem I had is when I was installing the batteries one of the little springs came off and was very difficult to get back on and stay in place. Over all I am pleased with the purchase.

This is a very good quality outdoor candle with an automatic shut off! Looks so nice on the porch in the lantern!

Exactly what I wanted

When first received, I believed I'd gotten the wrong candles. Nowhere on the box did it mention they were "timed", as in the ad. I've never had timed candles that didn't have a 3 way switch (Off-on-timed). These are automatically timed, when you switch them to on! 6 hour timer. They work great!
