ATDTools (814 11'' 4-Piece Needle Nose Pliers Set

As a professional auto tech I tend to stick to the pro tool guys.I'd never even heard of ATD tools. I came across these pliers and decided to give them a shot. I am replacing a mac-tools set that just keeps breaking at the hinge. Upon receiving these I was concerned because they are lightweight, and figured because of this they would be weak. I was wrong. These things see daily abuse and I have yet to bend or break any of them. The grips are soft and textured ,very nice to use.

You can spend more for better-known brands but most of us will be glad we've got a set of these when the time comes. Sure, they're probably made in China but nevertheless they seem pretty sturdy and well-engineered, and there's no substitute when you can quite reach something under the hood.

These are very cool! Very long, sturdy, and quite useful. My favorite thing about them is that they make a great gift for someone who really loves tools, because they are very singular and your tool loving friend is not very likely to already have it. I actually looked at multiple home stores and found only 1 comparable item and it had only 2 long pliers at more than twice the price.

Good for the price. Not very sturdy (the handle flexes more than it should), but the extra length gives it enough leverage to make up for it.Haven't used it enough to speak on the longevity, but they seem alright.

I love this set. I use the angled two on cooling system hoses all the time in the shop I work at. People I work with regularly buy Snap-On and Matco versions of these sort of tools. Why do that when you can buy a well made set like this for less. So many uses!

Wished I would have had these when I was removing and installing my car's heater core to remove the clamps on the hoses near the firewall. That extra reach is what you need and there is no loss in clamping ability. Great tools for the handyman.

Don't use them very often, but i'm real glad that I bought them for those few instances where a clamp or dropped bolt is being a pain.

Seem to be a good set of pliers. Don't mistake them for hardened pliers that can be squeezed to no end, much more expensive sets, but certainly do the job.
