I especially liked the fact that the kit includes a reflective yellow vest, which is why I selected this product over the other emergency kits offered by other vendors.The cardboard box that each kit comes in is a perfect size for storage in the car, and the box is quite sturdy. Inside is a smaller plastic storage box for the two flares, plus their removable stands. The included batteries are exceptionally easy to install. Just unscrew the base of each "flare" and the battery holder comes right out. The light is turned on by pressing a button. Sequential button pressing cycles the flare from steady red light to flashing red light to (this is pretty cool) a white light flashlight. A final push turns off the light.The bottom of the "flare" has a decent magnet that could be used to put the flare on the vehicle itself, or to secure it to its base.I was so impressed that I bought two more kits for my car and my wife's car.
