They Work!!
After noticing the front end of my 2005 E500 Mercedes was dropping every time I parked it, I took it to the mechanic and he informed me I needed new struts (shocks) for the car. He told me he could order them from Mercedes, and they would probably cost around $2000-$3000 for the pair, or I could try to find them and order them online and then he would install them. At first I wasn’t really sure what would be best, but I did my research and Long story short I came across Rebuild Master Tech, RMT, a company based in Florida that specializes in rebuilding luxury car parts, including suspensions, and from what I could find online they seemed very “on-it”. They had a great price on Amazon, MUCH cheaper than going through Mercedes, the parts installed perfectly (according to my mechanic) and so far they have been riding and performing like new. It’s been about 8 weeks, will update if anything comes up, but I am very happy with my RMT struts!!!

Stripped air fitting threads - Made it work
3-23-21Install was as easy as the three previous times I tackled the job. Unfortunately a couple of hours after install I started my car and within two minutes I heard a loud hissing noise coming from under the hood. To my dismay, the brass air fitting at the top of the strut had blown out. Upon inspection I noticed that about 66 percent of the threads were not there, so the brass fitting was only grabbing the bottom third of threads that were remaining and they were not enough to keep the airline and fitting in under pressure. I could not wait the week or so to wait for the return/replacement process to play out. Fortunately I am somewhat resourceful, I had some 2000psi epoxy that I used to secure the fitting in the hole. It appears to be holding for now and may never give me trouble until the strut fails 18 to 24 monthsfrom now like clockwork it is just extremely frustrating that I had to go through this and make it work.Reached out to seller about the issue and never received a response.Update 7-6-21 Fix still holding

Fantastic strut!
You have no idea how rough the road is until you loose an aromatic strut. Grabbed this on Amazon and had my mechanic install it on my 2006 CLS500 for $200 bucks and now my car is back u high again and the ride is smooth!
