I'm upgrading my review. I'm still not crazy about how flimsy it is but its held up pretty well to very light use- more than I had expected from it.I really am very underwhelmed by both the quality & appearance of this. There is no world where this is worth anything approaching $40. The cover is thin and then back cover is flimsy. The texture looks cheap and it just doesn't look like it's going to be able to hold up to any regular use. I regret this purchase. It's not nice enough for taking on an interview which was my primary reason for buying. I'm hoping I can return it.

This is Awesome!! It's a Clip Board and a Organizer in one!! This makes my life so much easier. I work in the field and need a lot of paper work, business cards, and writing space with me at all times. The Smart 3 Ring binder makes my job a lot less stressful! It looks nice. It looks professional and it keeps me organized.

Works perfectly for what I need it to. I use this on the go a lot and because it's slim it can't hold a bunch of papers in the binder part, but hold as much as I need. I hold sheets of paper usually in clear plastic paper protectors on the back and the main documents I need on the clipboard part. There are two pen holders vertically as you open it, but they are a bit close together so it's better for thin/short pens so they don't lay on top of each other or overlap. It's also better for retractable pens rather than a cap. The pens were held really snug and a couple times when I tried to remove the pen, I ended up just pulling the cap off -- this happened generally on Sharpie permanent markers that I was carrying. The flap on the side isn't large enough to hold a regular document unless you fold it, but this actually worked out for me because I used it to hold my iPad mini which fit perfectly. There a zipper flap too, but it's fairly narrow or slim so I used this to hold additional business cards or maybe one pen. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a more stylish option to have both a 3 ring binder and a clipboard all in one go.

Not worth it for everyday use! The zipper for the pocket broke after a few uses. The binder is flimsy and is now warped. I've only had it for approximately 3 months and use it in the field everyday. If you are going to use it like I do, don't buy it.

If you are looking to put sleeves in this, that are letter size, when you close the binder, the sleeves stick out passed the edge of the portfolio-which does not look clean and professional. (width wise)It is thin, feels like a heavy stock cardboard, is all.And all of the extra pockets do not seem necessary, to me.

Works like a regular three ring binder with the added benefit of having no pen holders. Biggest downside is that the pocket in the front doesn't hold a regular sized piece of paper unless you fold it in half. If you intend to carry papers in this, it is not the best.

I like the item, there were some marks and songs that made me unhappy—especially for a $39 binder... but given the limited quantity, urgent need, and overall appeal—I’ll probably keep. I like it, but at an actual store—wouldn’t buy it because of the condition. It looks used.

I needed this to help organize for the day of a conference. I wanted something that looked professional but I didn’t need to zip open. This was pretty flimsy, the outer portion was bent upon arrival.
