The reason we do not offer a remote control on our battery powered lights is an electrical design issue called parasitic drain. In order to have a remote control you must also have a circuit built into the light that is constantly operating to look for the input from the remote control to turn on/off, etc. This means the light (even when off) is constantly consuming the batteries. Net effect being that even without any use the light will drain the batteries. Other companies produce battery powered art lights with remote controls but don’t disclose this issue.

Great wireless lighting
I purchased this light to brighten fine art hanging in locations where there are no plugs. My key conditions were Wireless, No damaging UV for the artwork, easy to use and install.When opening the box the first thing I noticed is how well constructed the pieces were. Each piece is solid and well manufactured. The charger was quick and lets you know if it is done charging visibly with a light on the charger itself. If the light is green, it is finished charging. Mounting the light was quick and relatively painless, I do recommend planning ahead if your art is acrylic or glass fronted. You will want to have someone sit or stand in the most common viewing locations while you move the light (or vice versa) so you can make sure you don't get the reflection of the lights in the surface of your art. Once you have the location set it's simple to mount the aluminum block to the wall and put in the arm for the light. The light itself attaches with magnets and can be angled based on your needs. There are also three settings so you can set it differently based on the environment.My only criticisms do not impact my rating and are more of a "This would be really nice to have."1) There aren't instructions for mounting the aluminum block and the arm. I recommend including them even though it is self explanatory, including size of the screws and drywall anchors.2) I purchased the black arm and light because the wall I am hanging it on is darkly painted. When you have acrylic or glass fronted art, you need to hang the light a few inches higher than the frame to minimize reflection, Because of this the aluminum block is easy to see and can be distracting. I recommend the option of a black anodized aluminum block or a black cover which can be snapped over the aluminum block to keep it hidden.Great product, thank you! I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Great art light solution!
I ordered a rechargeable “mini spot” light and the larger art light. They are sleek and beautiful and extremely well designed and manufactured. I’ve alread ordered another! The mini spot is particularly nice because it requires no mounting whatsoever—it simply rests (securely) on top of the frame. And they are so sleek they seem to disappear (no bulky battery housing). These are just brilliant!

Wireless a necessity
Since light placement on top of picture would be out of reach, we attached it to the bottom and are very pleased! It was very easy to install & rotate light bar for best illumination.

You can tell this company really cares about its product and doing things right and well. It shows in their product , packaging, communication and follow up. It presents our art so perfectly.

AmazIng what a little light will do! Wow
Installed in less than 15 minutes. It absolutely changed the look and feel of not just the painting but the whole room. Everything seems so much more elegant. Just the right amount of light. And the slim lighting system is just what we were looking for. Rechargeable also eliminates the need for any wiring. We love it.

Best art light on the market....
Excellent product. Very well made, easy installation. Finish is flawless, ordered antique brass. Has a nice patina. Great battery life, has 3 levels of brightness. Only downside is lack of remote, but understand there would be manufacturing and size issues.Sets off your artwork without the bulk of some other brands. A tad pricey, but well worth every cent.

High quality craftsmanship
I am changing my earlier, negative review. I first used this very nice light on a piece of artwork that has glass. The light reflects in the glass and that was so disappointing to me. The owners of this company asked me to either try it on a canvas with no glass or return it for a full refund. It took me a while to do this and now that I have switched the light to artwork without any glass in the frame, the true beauty and quality of this light shines through. The battery last a long time and it is all very elegant. I love it.
