Great quality Matcha!
I just started getting into making my own match drinks. This matcha has a vibrant green color. And I was reading the more vibrant it is, the better quality! After purchasing this I quickly ran out haha and I got the value size from Costco and I have to say I could IMMEDIATELY tell the difference and how poor quality the Costco matcha was compared to this brand. The matcha from pure chimp taste great and you can definitely tell it’s a higher grade quality than if you were to buy some in a regular grocery store. Will buy again!

This is well made Matcha green tea powder and I like the taste with the Turmeric. But, out of stock?
I looked over many Matcha green tea offerings on Amazon and eventually settled on this one. I like the idea of providing some turmeric with the Matcha. It tastes pretty good too. I'm hopeful it has the health benefits that are touted by many different sources.Sadly, when I got mine, the expiration date had already passed by 3 months! I'm not really sure how to tell if it's "off" or not, as the turmeric can disguise aromas. Matcha will go stale after some time. Pure Chimp offered for me to take a refund, or send it back and wait for new stock. I chose to just go with the refund. And I'm glad I did. I'm doubtful about Pure Chimp's future, as 6 months later they're still not showing new stock. That's pretty sad, because I think they have a good product!

I've replaced coffee with matcha due to this brand
Coffee was upsetting my stomach but I still needed caffeine in the morning. After some research, I found that matcha contains l-theanine, which can help with stress and focusing. It can also help with inflammation. I have ADHD, bi-polar, an autoimmune disease, and am all around typically pretty tightly wound and stressed. I've found that I am able to focus better after having a matcha. I've also found that I don't feel jittery and anxious after having a cup, like I would with coffee. I've also had less energy spikes and crashes. If you've ever had a matcha at Starbucks, this is not the same. This has a cleaner, not as sweet taste. There is no bitterness to it, because I believe it is ceremonial grade (after researching.) It blends well and the small container lasts a long time. I've had at least 5 matchas a week for the past 6 weeks and my container isn't empty yet. This is due to you having to use very little to make a cup.The recipe I follow to make my matcha is the following:1/2 tsp PureChimp Matcha1/2 tsp water1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk1 1/2 TBSP Lankanto Monk Fruit SweetnerI start by following the directions of how to make the matcha paste on the back of the container.I heat my almond milk in the microwave for 2 minutes. I slowly add some almond milk to my matcha paste and mix with my milk frother, making sure I get all of the matcha off the sides of the cup. I then add the rest of my almond milk and add my lankanto monk fruit sweetener. Then I froth. It tastes amazing. I really think this is the perfect matcha powder.

Good for the price
I love matcha and don’t know much about what is good and what isn’t but this is what I buy and it works great for matcha lattes! Not very sweet but that’s ok since I like to add brown sugar to lattes. For the price you get a decent amount it has lasted me awhile.

Delicious 🤤
I love Matcha green tea but I am by no means an expert. I was first introduced to Matcha from Starbucks lol. I wanted to start making my own at home. My first Amazon purchase of a Matcha powder was the Jade Leaf Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder - Authentic Japanese Origin - Premium Second Harvest Culinary Grade (1.06 Ounce) priced at $9.95 which is shown in the third image. As you can see it is not as vibrant in color as the Purechimp Matcha which is a ceremonial grade green tea powder. Researching matcha powder the color is a good indicator of the grade quality. So I received the Jade Matcha about a week ago. I tried it and it was very bitter to me. So I did some research and I realize that the Jade Matcha powder is a culinary grade which is the second harvest of the Matcha green tea leaf. In my research I found out that this is usually used for cooking and smoothies as well as drinking in tea form; however people indicated that it can be bitter. The best option is a ceremonial grade Matcha powder from Japan. Ceremonial matcha is harvested during the first harvest of the matcha leaf. I received the Purechimp ceremonial grade matcha today and I must say it was heaven. I can definitely tell the difference between the Jade (culinary grade) and the Purechimp (ceremonial grade). I would recommend this Matcha powder to any beginner to matcha. Love me a matcha latte.

My go-to matcha-- 5+ stars for quality, customer service and charity!
I stopped drinking coffee back in Sept 2019 and have been exploring different tea options since. I went down the learning curve of various types of matcha, starting out with culinary matcha (which I learned first hand is NOT the best for drinking fyi). Then I bought a super fancy matcha with a special superfood mushroom blend and while it was tasty, it wasn't realistic price wise, esp for a daily drink. Then I came across this one and it has easily become my go-to morning drink. I drink this every morning and it gives me the perfect boost of sustainable energy without the volatile up and down of caffeine from coffee. My favorite way to have it is mixing it with cold vanilla coconut milk (use an electric milk frother for best results) and topping it off with hot water. When I have an extra sweet tooth, I will even add a little cinnamon and/or honey for a comforting sweet latte! The classic matcha is hands down my favorite, the quality of flavor is spot on. I did branch out to try the turmeric matcha, but it wasn't for me, I think I'm just more of a traditionalist when it comes to matcha. When I went to return the turmeric matcha, I saw that it wasn't an option, so PureChimp offered to send me another classic matcha as a replacement for the turmeric, which was beyond my expectations!Considering the quality, flavor, packaging, price and customer service, if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Plus, they donate a portion of profit to charity :-)
