The app is adequate and it is larger to see when in the Car Dock. The Car Dock is another issue. There are four main issues; 1) The instructions are poor and the video makes it seem way to easy which it is not, 2) the iPhone can not be used in the holder with your case, therefore, you must constantly remove the case; annoying 3) the multi-jointed connection between the actual holder and the window or dash mount is cheap or in other words crap. Nice design but not very sturdy or high quality, given the price paid. It may not hold up over time, and lastly 4) the FM feature is nice if you have a car that has the capability to actually select an non-broadcasting FM location. My vehicle does not. Now with all this said, the FM feature did work but as you increase volume you do get static (that may be due to the lack of selecting a completely non-working FM location); the AUX works beautifully. The Bluetooth sync was easy and all calls work as stated. According to my test (I am demanding) the sound quality through the speakers is excellent, also the quality confirmed by a number of callers, stated they hear without distortion. I spoke with my normal speaking voice. As calls are received or made the music, navigation and etc slowly fade to allow for phone operation and return upon completion. In summary, Dension certainly has the answer for those wanting a simple handsfree solution, but they did not finish their product with a high quality multi-jointed connection or allow users to utilize their iPhone cases. It is not worth the price stated but should be considerably lower. Yes, I am keeping the Car Dock but will only use for long trips given the difficulty of removing the case. Technology component excellent, dock design and components poor-fair. Hope this helps in making your decision and what to expect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall the best in the market... *by R***I on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2012* Hi, I've been looking for a dock that charges, plays music, does phone calls, one that didn't need plugging a cable every time i get in the car, and one that is window/dash mount... After a long search in amazon's products this seemed the best option, i searched all of them.In short, the product is the best on Amazon although it's pricey, but it has all the features needed.1- The quality is decent but the middle round pieces that stretch and hold (phone holder/dock) from both sides should be more solid and supreme quality because it's the hub of the movement.2- Window mount is solid and works well.3- I've just attached one of the pieces to dock it on the dash waiting an hour for it before use as the figures* suggest.4- *The Manual is crappy and you get to work with pictures (figures)that has no comments on what to do so you have to figure it out yourself.5- It could be used with both iPhone 4 and 3, there are extra pieces included to hold iPhone 46- There's a cloth that is sealed and from the figures it showed that they use it to wipe the area before putting a dash piece, the problem is that it doesn't explain anything about it and on the cloth seal are lots of warnings that it's harmful and all that crap and not to touch the skin and and and... I opened it anyways and wiped with it but it smells like (thinner) that is used when painting and there was no other way but to touch it if i wanted to use it. I did but a clean cloth should do the job. I disposed of it safely and i don't recommend using it... Any cleaning cloth would do.7- The Software is easy to use and simple, i'm using Sygic as it's more powerful, the software is free so don't expect much.8- Bluetooth pairs pretty easy.9- The charger that goes in the lighter is pretty decent and excellent quality and compact. Charging works.10- Other than the power cable is an audio cable you could use if your car stereo can't search for free channels manually.11- Not a point of importance to me but it doesn't hold the phone with a cover... if you have a cover i prefer you get one that's easy to take the iPhone out of so it won't hassle you.I'll update once the piece dries and i mount it on the dash and test voice and music.I hope this helped. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Dension Iphone Car dock *by P***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2012* I just installed the Dension car dock and overall was happy with the way the dock cradles the phone. The fixed mount seems to hold up pretty good so far.The only thing I would make sure people understand clearly (I did not) is that the dock only works in phone mode if your vehicle has Bluetooth. The caller cannot be heard through the vehicle speakers without a bluetooth stereo option on your vehicle. Something to think about because if your car radio has bluetooth then really do you need this expensive cradle?
