Great product!
Love this thing. Reminds me of when my grandma used to use this many years ago (why I bought it). Just remember it seals the bread and produces lava within! So be patient before biting into it.

Works well
It does the job, easy to use and clean, super fast, for the price is perfect. I have for a month already and it has hold up well so I said it is very durable. I don’t know if the plate are removable because I have had no need to remove them. I like it specially for the price.

Great for Quick Sandwiches
It heats up fast, toasts evenly, and I’ve even used it for things like French toast and little omelets — so it’s definitely versatile for how compact it is!The size is perfect for small kitchens or limited counter space, and I love that it stands upright for storage. It’s also lightweight and easy to pull out when I need it.Just take in consideration the plates aren't removable, so cleaning can be a bit tricky. You have to wait for it to cool and then wipe it down carefully, not a huge deal, but removable plates would’ve made it perfect.Great value if you want something simple and fast for everyday use

Great Choice for Single Cooking
I originally bought this item in July 2018, and after more than six years of regular [daily/weekly] use, I'm finally replacing it - with a new version of the same device. It's been excellent in its role as a space saving countertop multipurpose grill and sandwich maker. I didn't use the waffle plates as much, but when I did, they worked fine. The key is what you expect from it. This item works best as a way to prepare single person meals. I've used it to make toast, fry eggs, make "pancakes" as well as waffles, as a panini press, to heat up veggie patties ... it's quite versatile. It heats quickly and cooks fairly well. The plates are not difficult to switch out and are easily cleaned. I use an oil spritzer for even oiling and have had few problems with food sticking over the years. My only real problem was with the plates getting scratched, and when I wrote to Ovente they were able to provide me with replacements. When I noticed some uneven heating today - something that has never been a problem before - I found what appears to be a cracked lower element. After 6+ years of nearly daily use, I can accept this as a reasonable end of life cycle, and will replace with a new one. In terms of value for money, I think I've done okay with this product.

Decent Sandwich Maker – Works Best with Small Bread
This sandwich maker has its strengths, but also a few drawbacks that make it just okay overall.Pros:• Works well with smaller bread sizes• Easy to use and straightforward design• Heats up quickly for a fast mealCons:• Standard/average bread slices are difficult to fit• Does not cook sandwiches evenly (one side may be softer)• Tends to squash the sandwich quite a bit, leaving it flatIf you mostly use smaller bread or don’t mind a thinner sandwich, this could still work for you. But for regular-sized bread and more consistent results, you may want to look at other options.

Compact Convenience with a Side of Compromise
Four months into using the OVENTE 3 in 1 Electric Sandwich Maker, I've had a fair share of experiences that paint a vivid picture of this kitchen gadget's capabilities and limitations. This device, with its promise of versatility and convenience, offers a mixed bag that prospective buyers should consider. The sandwich maker's compact and portable design is its most striking feature. It's a boon for those with limited kitchen space or for anyone who appreciates a gadget that doesn't claim a permanent countertop residence. It can be tucked away easily when not in use, which is a definite plus. However, this compactness is a double-edged sword. The size, while convenient, limits the portion sizes you can prepare. It's perfect for quick, small meals but might not meet the needs of those looking to prepare larger or multiple servings in one go.The interchangeable plates for sandwiches, waffles, and grilling add a layer of versatility that is commendable. The idea of having one appliance for multiple uses is appealing and space-saving. However, the execution is not without flaws. The plates themselves are disappointingly thin, raising questions about their durability and heat distribution capabilities. Moreover, the hinge mechanism, a critical component of any sandwich maker, started showing signs of wear rather quickly, with a screw breaking after just a few uses. This raises concerns about the overall build quality and longevity of the device. On the positive side, the non-stick cooking surface delivers as promised. It ensures that food comes out easily without sticking, and the cleanup process is straightforward. The plates being dishwasher safe is a convenient feature, although a simple wipe-down is often enough to keep them clean. In terms of performance, the sandwich maker heats up quickly, and the LED indicator lights are a helpful guide. However, the temperature control seems to be a bit of a hit-or-miss. While it can cook various items efficiently, careful attention is needed to avoid overcooking or burning, especially with bread. In conclusion, the OVENTE 3 in 1 Electric Sandwich Maker is a mixed bag. Its compactness, versatility, and ease of cleaning are points in its favor. However, concerns about the build quality, particularly the thin plates and fragile hinges, are significant drawbacks. It's a convenient gadget for quick meals and small portions, but for those looking for a robust and durable kitchen appliance, this might not be the best fit.
