The stencils are thin and floppy. Some have such tiny pictures, a child will have to use a very thin lead pencil to fit inside the stencil. As anyone who has every spent any time with small children knows, they dont have a lot of coordination and are likely to snap such a lead. I was hoping to give this to my 6 year old grandson but I guess the older kids will get them...and they probably wont care much for them.The stencils came in a lovely little black, zipper case. Unfortunately, when I removed the outer plastic wrapper, the black case let off such a strong chemical odor that burned my nose and made my eyes water! If it wasnt such a pain to return items, I would have immediately packed it back up and returned it. So, I threw the case away, washed and aired the cheap-o, thin stencils and will give to older kids. I would NOT recommend this product. On an up note, my dog ate one with no ill effects.

This is part of a Christmas gift for a 9 year old boy who loves to draw. Sometimes just having a stencil to trace on paper can peak the imagination where the budding artist creates their own masterpiece by starting out with one object. For the price, variety, quality, and comes in its own baggie, I highly recommend.

This stencil collection is very diverse and we love the selection. My family is getting a lot of use out of them during our craft time. Some of the shapes are a bit small so that you’d need a fine tip pen or very pointy pencil to get the full shape. However the letters and some of the bigger shapes are plenty big for different writing implements. We even used them with narrow fabric markers to decorate shirts. Overall these definitely work for our purposes and they’ve held up well so far.

Great little set that comes with a bag so it easy to carry and store it instead of having it all over the house. Cute designs. However I think it will be better for kids 4-5 and up because some of the figures are very small to do for younger children

Some of the shapes are a little small to use even with the sharpest and smallest of tips other than that they are fine

These are great stencils to have around the house for kid's school projects. I purchased these for a onesie decorating station at a baby shower, brought them home afterwards and my kids LOVE them.

I bought this stencil for my great nephew, who is a budding artist. HE LOVED IT.

These have held up great in my first grade classroom. They are a touch small but still easy for my students to use. I like how many designs you get.
