**Q: Do they come with food?**
A: They come in a test tube with cotton wool soaked in something sweet presumably sugar water which the ants eat

**Q: Are these suitable for my child’s ant farm**
A: Yes ive had mine for months and have lasted. Really easy to look after

**Q: Can you have x2 queen ants of the same species in the same ant farm ?**
A: No.

**Q: Are these okay for the gel farms ?**
A: Unfortunately gel ant farms are not suitable for raising a colony and should only be used with "expendable" worker ants caught from the garden. Gel farms usually go moldy within a few days to a few weeks. An ant colony with a queen should be housed in something that would last a lot longer than that as a queen and colony could live up to a decade!
