time to switch the magneto 12 months hot days they wear out
Gosh when I got into my old magneto I could smell it like it smells like a burnt piece of electronic equipment always does this item arrived timely installed rather quickly I waited at least a month or so before I walked over to this project and flip the things out I knew the magneto I had was burnt thanks for a timely delivery of an extremely good product no magneto no spark this magneto works thank you

Good/not good
So I works, when I opened the package I had this product along with a new magnet for the magneto, and they were stuck together, later found out that the coil was open but I believe that it was because of the magnet and the coil colliding during shipping, fixed it and it works very well, but i don’t really know the cause of the open coil

Did not receive my magneto coil
The media could not be loaded. Everything came as was supposed to except for the magneto coil

If you do buy this product I suggest to take off the spark plug cap and cut off the head of the lead wire and buy a ngk spark plug cap and screw that one on instead (could be found at advance auto parts and not autozone)The CDI feels heavier than the stock cdi and looks better put together but of course that doesn’t mean performanceThe magneto for the kit does not include the 3rd 6/12v white wire so that’s a plus but it seems with all the magneto’s I have gone through they all fit the stock magnet but the groves inside the magneto arms are a little bit shorter then that of stock whether or not this helps I am not sure of but both sides of the magneto arms look equal distance for the magnet which is want you anywaysThe spark plug is not as long as the regular ngk spark plugs (Standard recommendation for bike) and heat index is a 7I usually run a B6HS and I’m waiting on a new carburetor (the red and blue HP carbs sold on amazon here) because it’s better to start with a new spark plug when and testing them and adjustingI will let you know how they hold up after a week of use because I rely on my bike for daily travel

Good purchase
The second most important upgrade as far as I am concerned (number 1 being the chain tensioner, because the stock one is a dangerous piece of garbage). Helps the bike fire up on the first attempt every time now. Plus the stock spark plug wire that came with my kit was defective.

New ignition system
My old CDI and magneto went out from original build. I installed and my engine came back to life with better performance! Will by again if need to!

Same as Stock
I ordered this to improve the pedal start. The sparkplug was smaller than the one I had, but I needed to replace it anyway. Well it starts faster than the CDI that it replaced, but that wasn't saying much. After I got it started, it didn't seem to go as fast and then started to bog down at full throttle.It works, but it's not impressionable.
