WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!
Ibiza brushes are made in Spain. They are expensive. They are worth EVERY PENNY. I just purchased my second Ibiza brush. The picture on the left is my first brush, bought in a beauty supply store in Manhattan Beach, CA for $44 in 1989. I still use it to this day...34 years later. That's about 1.30 a year thus far!!...and still in perfect condition! The picture on the right is my second Ibiza brush, which I received today. It was $50 from amazon. I chose the concave style this time, as my hair is now shorter, and I like the way it feels against my head. The handles of these brushes are made of cork, making them lightweight to hold while using a blow dryer. The bristles will provide sufficient tension to gently draw the hair straight and provide silkiness without frizz.Paying fifty bucks for a hair brush is something I would NEVER have considered before this. I'm planning to get another one with a slightly smaller barrel (for the sides and neck area) and I have no guilt about the price. At this rate, the brushes will outlive me!With amazon's generous return policy it would be worth it to try. A splurge on yourself, indeed!

It's worth it!!!
I am a white girl. I have thick wavy hair that is hard to manage. Not anymore!! This rows of bristles are set up so your hairs stays on the brush. Excellent tension. I can actually pull, roll and shape my hair like a stylist. The brush is light weight, stays in my hand and is super comfortable. I have been using Brocato Cloud 9 Blowout Serum and Heat Protector. Hair is soft, super manageable and feels healthier.I add both products to my hair when it's wet. Allow to air dry till 60-80% dry then blow it out(or quick blow dry all over). Hair drys faster!! This product feels a little sticky but goes away after hair is dry.

I kicked myself a little because this seems like such a ridiculous price for a hairbrush
I kicked myself a little because this seems like such a ridiculous price for a hairbrush. I take it back. This is so lightweight it actually makes performing a blowout on my hair so much more enjoyable. My hair is smoother and sleeker and my arm is less tired. My hair tangles/gets caught in the brush significantly less than it did on my DryBar barrel brush. There aren't too many things to be said about a brush, but it's really a wonderful product. i just cut my hair so I need a smaller size and I'm actually considering another splurge to get the smaller version.

Terrific brush
This brush is pricey, but it kicks the pants off of cheaper brushes. My hairdresser recommended a wood barreled boar bristle brush, advising that metal or ceramic barrels generate too much heat. The first time I used it, I immediately noticed two big pluses— my hair didn’t tangle and when I finished, my hair was much smoother. I like the concave shape and the light weight of the brush. It is very easy to use.

I didn’t care for it
It’s nice and lightweight but I felt the bristles made my hair frizzy. I returned it.

I don’t love this brush as much as others
I don’t love this brush as much as others. I know it is often used by professionals, but I struggle with it. Have medium long fairly fine hair and it gets caught up a lot and it seems to take longer to dry my hair when I use this brush. Overall, just fine.
