Ok, this gets 5 stars for the final results, but it took a bit to get there. I was very skeptical while shampooing, as the smell was off putting, and it didn’t seem to work into my hair very well, almost leaving it tangled. I used a wet brush with the conditioner and it went through much better. A very smooth feel once rinsed. I blow dryed my hair, which is medium length and thicker, and it felt very nice and light. I have just over the last year, had dry scalp issues and was getting frustrated, and have tried a lot of products. After 2 shampoos, it is not gone but is significantly better. The price is what will keep me from keeping this in stock because at $29.99 for the set, and the set being 8 ounces each, I will go through this quickly with the amount of hair I have. A quarter size may work for some, it does not work for me. Overall, it does what it says it will do, and leaves my hair shiny and soft.

I have long dark hair as u can see in the photo. I'm always having issues with similar products drying out my hair and tangling it so much that I lose a ton whenever I wash it. This is only my first day of using this product and I only blowdryed my hair (no styling). The shampoo made my hair and scalp squeaky clean which I wanted but worried that my hair would dry out as a result. The conditioner was a-ma-zing! It's light, doesn't weigh down your hair but helps with frizz (in spite of the 90 degree weather today) and it detangles. My hair feels so smooth and my scalp already feels better than it has in a long time! Everyone is different but I definitely recommend trying this if you have dry scalp issues during hot summer months or cold winter months.

UPDATE BELOW.I have such a dry scalp it literally feels like my head is on fire sometimes, like fire ants swarming. I've cried over the pain before. My hair also at the ends are extremely dry to where my straight hair is kinky and breaks because of how extremely dried out it is. I used this for the first time and while my head is still kind of itchy that overwhelming sensation of being on fire is gone as well as my hair is looking so much smoother. I'll probably update this after a few more weeks of use.UPDATE: So overall I do like this set, the health of my hair itself is amazing my hair has been softer than it has been in the last year or so. However my main issues are the shampoo is SO incredibly thick I barely can even get it to penetrate down to my scalp and my flakes are about the same if not even worse. It does help with the sensation that my head is on fire but only for a very short time and there are no changes in my scalp health. I will, however, continue using the conditioner for health of the strands of my hair but to regain scalp health I may need to go with a different brand.

Not sure how these guys got liquid gold in their bottles because that is how I feel each time I use the product. I have been dealing with an overly dried scalp for the past few months due to the freezing Chicago winter. Ever since I switched over to this brand I have noticed that my hair looks more nourished after a month.As a guy, hair loss is something of a struggle. Ever since I got this, I've noticed more hair has been growing, it's too soon to tell if this is the primary reason. I will probably update this review after another 2 months

I've been looking for a product to use that is safe for color that would help my scalp not itch - and this is the first one I've tried that really helped! I love using this product, because my scalp feels great! You can definitely smell the Tea Tree oil, but I don't mind. It works!

I love that the health of my scalp is so much better, looking foward to continue using this product.

My daughter loves this shampoo! She had just started developing aggravating dandruff a few months ago as a preteen. I didn't want to use the harmful coal tar shampoos or other artificially made dandruff shampoos, so we tried this.She absolutely adores it! The itchiness on her scalp is gone and the flakes are down at least 90% after just a couple of uses. She also likes how much more shiny her hair is and I noticed it, too. Yet her hair doesn't get greasy quickly like it did with her old shampoo. The smell is a nice and fresh tea tree oil scent.

This is probably the best shampoo I’ve ever used which is why I keep re-ordering it. This last time now I think I bought a bad batch because that bottle is leaking like a sieve. I’m losing a lot of product to the shelf. Last happen sometime so I will buy it again but if that next bottle leaks I’m done. Same problem with the next batch I bought. I do you like the shampoo but I’m buying empty shampoo bottles to transfer the product into because the ones they come in suck.
