This safety vest is exactly what we were looking for! We tried an LED light up collar but felt that the visibility of our dog at night still wasn't adequate. The yellow vest is perfect-- very bright and plenty of reflective surface area to make sure she is seen at night. The fit is perfect-- the large fits her perfectly (60 pound stocky pit bull). The Velcro is exposed just about a half inch- I hate when the straps are too long and flop around! Fits over her front clip harness well and stays put when she walks-- other similar jackets tend to shift side to side. I also like that I can keep the neck strap in place and just slip over her head each time. Would definitely recommend!

We purchased one of these from another manufacturer (orange from petflect) a few years ago for our older/larger dog to wear during hunting season since we live in the country surrounded by woods. We tried to order another orange one for our new (smaller dog) but the small from that manufacturer (petflect) did not fit so we tried SafetyPUP XD because they had x-small as well. I ordered both the X-Small and the Small and sent back the X-Small since it fit our pup. WE LOVE IT and HERE'S WHY:First, the small from this company DID fit our 25 lb. shepherd/fox terrier rescue (whereas the other company's did not) but even if it hadn't, SafetyPUP still offered an X-Small- so: more size options. Second, the material is much better! It's way more reflective after several washings, seems more durable (though that was not an issue with the other manufacturer either as we still have and use it on our larger/older dog). But SafetyPUP's material is water repellent (if not waterproof) and has slightly more coverage over the front arms/lower neck than the other (which we offset on the other by adding an orange bandana- which is still worn).Overall- it's too bad we didn't find this company when we bought the first one! Since we liked the small orange so much (and our larger dog already has an orange vest) we also purchased the SafetyPUP XD URBAN in fluorescent yellow for both dogs: SMALL for Porter Jones (25 lb. shepherd/fox terrier mix rescue) & LARGE for Jabe Colden (75 lb. shepherd/collie mix rescue).I put the boys in the orange vests during the day in hunting season, and for those crepuscular hours (dawn/dusk) when the light is low- the Yellow shows up amazingly- you can even make out the yellow in full dark! And check either color out with a flashlight- FANTASTIC REFLECTION!Highly recommended for use at home, hiking, even in the water (if your dogs swim) so they can be seen by others (especially boaters).These have become a staple for our dogs whenever we leave the house now... better to have and not need, than need and not have. No more skipping out on spur of the moment hikes, or trail exploration because it's hunting season!We'll post some pics soon.

I'm a trucker and I work the night shift and Steele goes to work with me. Our lot is usually dark except for the people zooming around so I decided to get Steele a vest so people can see him like they see me. The ordering process was great and fast. I also got a thank you email from them giving me a number to call if I have any issues.The vest is great. It is definitely reflective. Actually the 1st day Steele we wore the vest, I did forget mine but when people were able to see the reflective paw on his vest. I got alot of compliments about the vest. Also the sizing was dead on. My dachshund is 22 pounds and I got a xsmall (he has to lose weight that's why I got the xsmall). I was hesitate because I usually have to get him mediums and larges, but it definitely fit. Also it had rained a few times and the vest came in handy also be it's water resistant so he didn't get wet. I plan to use it too when I go out on late walks. My only complaint was that my dog wears a harness and it doesn't have any slots to pull the harness loops though but he was still able to wear the harness with vest. I still highly recommend it.

I purchased this vest in High-Vis Yellow size Large for my Rottie mix and I love it. I was skeptical at first whether a large would fit her, but it is perfect! She has a deep chest (around 33") & is about 75 solid pounds. This vest is more than big enough for her. Other vests I have had (like the petflect brand size large) were too snug and didn't cover her body enough for my liking. The two photos I took were at dusk 5 minutes apart just to show how easy the yellow can be seen under poop lighting. Lastly the material this vest is made of is far superior than any other vest I have found. It would seem to me that this vest will last. I also ordered the orange vest & can't wait until they have the pink available in larger sizes.

I run with my dog and one thing we need, is to be visible at all times, daylight and dark. He's had a vest for years that's needed to be replaced, and after a lot of research, this vest is what we chose. It is super colorful and highly reflective, even indoors and in low-light conditions. At night, when headlights or other lights are reflected, this vest really, REALLY glows. The material is sturdy and tough without being bulky, and the fit seems pretty accurate (he's a 75 pound, lean, husky mix and we ordered the Large). It also fits our 75 pound boxer and 90+ pound American Bulldog. So far I have not noticed any friction rubs or hair loss where it contacts his front and shoulders, which was a slight issue with the old vest on our longer runs. At first I thought the underbelly strap should be a little further forward, but it fits great as is. Because the back end is quite long and has good coverage, it appears baggy but actually stays in place perfectly when he's moving. This is a great choice for day or night, and really adds to feeling safer out there on the roads! To add, he LOVES his vest, because it means were running (and it looks great on him). As you can see in the picture, he doesn't even want to waste time having his picture taken, he just wants to run in his vest!
