Switch Guard (Pack of 2, Clear) - Prevents Switches Being Turned Off

I’m giving these 5 stars because they are brilliant and they do stick really well and stop little ones switching off plugs.. however I didn’t check my wall sockets and they’re curved at the top so don’t stick to mines 🤣 but that’s user error and no fault to the product.

I was hoping these two covers would fit side-by-side on this double socket, but due to the size of the plugs there is no room for them. I was thinking about maybe cutting them down to size, or even changing the plugs to narrower versions, but then I remembered the review from "Sarah" and thought I would try it this way!If your goal is to stop something being switched off, putting them across both switches horizontally works perfectly. And now I have a spare switch cover to use somewhere else, happy days!Nice and solid, good quality, comes with about 10x as much double-sided sticky tape as you actually need. Very happy with these despite the size issue. No more unexpected staring at a blank computer screen wondering where all my work's gone, haha.

I purchased these clear guards to cover light switches that are used by smart bulbs. They do the job perfectly for this task, however, I also have a smart plug in a double wall socket, but the switches are too close together to use these guards on.Having said that : overall they are easy to use - comes with a small roll of double sided tape and instructions (although most people will not even need to read them). I wanted clear/ transparent because white may not match exactly to your home switches. They have tiny holes that you can fit a pen or small screwdriver in , should you need to turn on or off manually.I am happy with my purchase and would most definitely recommend. I gave 4 stars just because they didn’t fit my double socket.

I bought these switch guards after inadvertently switching off the freezer in my garage. Be aware though, if your switch plate has a slight curve at the edges (mine and a lot of modern plates do) then these guards will not fit properly and securely. (Would get more stars if the description from the seller included this important information). But with a piece of duck tape, the switch is protected and does the job. I’ve fitted mine over a double socket and the guard does not interfere with the operation of the second switch. It’s enough of a deterrent to prevent and me think twice about switching that particular socket off.

Brought before. Good for freezer or fish tank, to avoid accidental turning off. Stick well and don't drop off. If you gotba double plug though, you would only be able to use on one switch, as not enough room between switch.

I wanted to stop anyone switching off the freezer by accident - it has happened! But these don’t work on a double socket and in any case the glue isn’t strong enough.

Although we heat our water via the gas CH the hot water tank still has an electric immerser. handy in case the heating breaks down we still have hot water.The problem is that the switch is underneath wall mounted kitchen units and is near to a light switch. Every so often someone in the house turned on the immerser instead of the light and it got left on for days at up to 50p per hour.So bought this, fitted it, job done. Paid for itself the first time it prevents the immerser getting switched on.

After my twins decided that the best game ever was to play with the buttons on the tumble dryer, turning it on and pressing on the heat switch, I needed to find a way to stop them being able to press the buttons without making them completely inaccessible to adults. These switch covers are perfect for the job. They were so easy to install and I've been able to trim one of them to the shape of the panel, using a normal pair of scissors. The toddlers have completely lost interest in the dryer now!
