I'll be the first review
First the bad. Due to the robust plastic frame on the back side, the original 6x9 hole needed to be cut larger. It was a pain as I didn't account for this and I didn't take the tool needed to enlarge the hole. That's the bad. Now for the good, They sound great, the frame and cover are very robust hard plastic. They're made very well and didn't skimp on materials. These are low in my cockpit and I rest my foot on them as I'm sailing...they're smooth with rounded edges and feel great as a foot hold...yes, they're that robust ;) Very very happy with this purchase. Well....that's if they continue to hold up and sound good...time will tell but it looks like they'll hold up.
