I had a flat oval curling iron in the early 90s it died and I could never find another one, I love the zig zag curls and if you run your fingers through your hair looks super full, it comes with a protective glove so you can wrap your hair around the iron w/o burning yourself it gets very hot 🔥 I had it all the way up cause I have thicker already kinky hair bur it immediately curled it and gets hot quickly, very impressed with price and quality. I put a photo of my hair I played with it about 8 to 10 hours ago and scrunched it in a bun but it's still wavy. Fyi...hold button to turn on and off click once to change temp.

Meh.... I'm so sad. Trying to replace an old oval wand and this was my second fail. I am a professional stylist and I can not even use this product without creating harsh kinks

I originally ordered this for my mom and a gift and she loved it so much I had to order one myself! It creates a perfect beach curl! I loved the idea of this wand, and actually just love it in general for curling my hair, but I found that if you curl each piece of hair individually by wrapping tightly around wand (which is how i did it on my previous wand) It doesn't work well at all. curls come out super tight and are hard to remove from the iron...resulting in the burning of 1, my hair, 2 my fingers, 3 my ear, 4...i even burnt some hair because it got so stuck around those sharp edges! So THE TRICK I HAVE FOUND, is to take a large section of hair (I divide mine into 6) and wrap a section LOOSELY around the wand. This results in a much more natural looking curl, and can be shaken out well to make it a beachy look. So, first impression, i hated it. 2nd, with a little more technique involved, it can be a great wand. the curls really do last several days! I can curl after my shower and go 3 days until the next scheduled hair wash. Great product, once you know how to use!

I was expecting this iron to be more cube shaped than rectangular...It did a great job giving me volume but I had to curl the top layer with a cylindrical iron because this one leaves awful creases in my hair. You can see them peeking through in the picture.I do have very thin hair so maybe that doesn't help.Probably wont be reaching for this on a regular basis simply because of the crinkles.

I love trying new hair products and was excited to use this, but after watching many videos and experimenting with it, I had no luck getting the curls to look like the pictures instead of kinky, frizzy, crimped looking mess. Also the curls didn't hold for an entire evening, let alone "three days" as the product claimed. Oh and the cord is SO SHORT! I'm only 5'7 but using this standing up and trying to tilt the wand extended the cord from my surge protector 100% and it was very awkward to use. Its pretty and constructed well... but overall, not for me.

Amazing!!! My hair is super long and straight and never holds curl for long. The photos shown are from the day after I curled my hair. They were just as nice on day three! I didn’t have to use any styling products except some heat protectant spray and my usual Chi serum before blow drying my hair. It only took me a few minutes to figure out everything. I was also able to get the full length of my hair on the wand at one time. My hair is down to the bottom of my butt. That’s an accomplishment!
