Discovered him by accident, delighted to get this collection of images.Charley Harper was a genius at capturing subtle nuances of animals using simple geometric shapes, and blocks of colour.Great to get this many images, so well reproduced to a good size at such a good price (£22.29)

A lovely book for any fan of Charley Harper. It's nice large size 11.5" x 11.5". 132 pages At the beginning a forward and Introduction then a couple of pages of an interview of Charley Harper by Charley Harper. The rest of the book is the beautiful images one per page and the title and little intro below. Lovely and colourful and very much a book to pick up again and again. This one published 2016 and came cello wrapped in box. Beguiling indeed.

Outstanding book, big Charley Harper fan but this is the best book!!

Excellent value for money

A fantastic collection of the art of Charley Harper with a great introductory essay and interview with Harper himself. Full of charm and humour.

Beautiful book. I’ve wanted this book for a while and am so happy to get it at such a bargain. Nicely packaged to protect my purchase. I never do reviews, but had to say thank you.

Cette somme sur Charley Harper est un incontournable pour les amoureux du dessin et des arts graphiques, et bien sûr pour ceux qui se passionnent pour le monde animal. Un livre à s'offrir ou à offrir, pour passer des moments à admirer l'extraordinaire talent de Harper ainsi que son esprit malicieux: les légendes qui accompagnent les oeuvres sont en effet très intéressantes, poétiques et malicieuses. A apprécier par des anglophones bien sûr (ce livre n'est pas bilingue anglais-français.); pour quelqu'un ne connaissant pas l'anglais mais qui chercherait un livre sur Charley Harper, je trouve que ce livre est à recommander tout de même pour le nombre et la qualité des illustrations.

No one could distill the essence of wild things like Charlie Harper. This book not only shows his unique take on wildlife art but also includes his words for each painting. Each subject is beautifully presented and a joy to read about. This is one of those books you will want to display so that it may be enjoyed by everyone. I highly recommend.

Love Charley Harper illustrations and amusing commentary.Once again it is a shame that Amazon treats expensive art books the same as they do a roll of duct tape when they are packaged to ship. Luckily this and another book packed into the same box only got dinged a bit in the corners. They were shrink wrapped so that the cookie or granola crumbs that were also in the box didn't leave grease marks on the books.

The book itself looks great, but for $60, I expect to receive it in pristine condition. Will be returning.
