Good quality, easy to use paste
Excellent quality. Easy to use. I hate trying to colour sugar paste black much prefer to buy it !

Sadly awful
This was hard to work and full of lumps. Tore easily. Sad to say this is not up to SK' s usual standard. I'm a semi professional cake decorator so I have experience in this field, so it's not just a throwaway statement.

Very dissatisfied
Only brand I could get dove grey in I hadn’t used it before. The colour was excellent but the sugar paste was dreadful . So dry ,so hard to make playable , no stretch and it loved to crack . I was making a castle at the time and needed it to be smooth it even cracked under the wall impression matts . NEVER again

Mix with another sugarpaste and it’s great!
Good product and quick delivery. However you need to mix this with a better quality sugarpaste as this is quite sticky without. Once mixed it was great and rolled out well and covered a very large square cake perfectly.

Really dry, terrible smell
I read a number of negative reviews about this sugar paste but there were a few positive ones and I really needed a large quantity of this colour and I had no time to go to hobbycraft.On the plus side, the icing had already been rolled fairly flat/thin so there was less rolling to do. As others have said, it absolutely stinks upon opening, a really synthetic stick and I had to taste my just to make sure the kids at the party would eat it. It tasted fine.The icing was soft and easy to roll, unfortunately when it came to picking it up to put it on the cake it entirely fell apart, like it was made out of fudge/tablet, that's the nearest thing I can liken it to. I made quite a mess of the cake as the only way to get it on was to scrape it off the bench with a large metal pizza slice. Trying to smooth it on to the cake just caused rips. I managed to cover the disaster bits with sprinkles and cardboard decorations but I would not buy this awful sugarpaste again
