Great Value and 30v and 10a
It does exactly as described. It saved me from buying 2 new flymo batteries (saving £140+), The charger was a smart one and as they dropped below a certain amount would not charge. 30-60 seconds gave the batteries the charge it needed and was recognised by the supplied smart charger. (please don't copy me, but it worked)

Nice unit and working as intended but useless instructions
Well, initially I was going to leave a negative, 1 star review but...Eventually I persevered and stuck with the unit, fiddling about with the controls as best as I could figure out (not really worth referring to the manual, it's almost useless). The process was a bit hit-and-miss BUT eventually had the unit working as supposed, powering a surplus PC fan. I will attempt to explain at the end.The item was well packaged, compact and a nice looking unit.Process:While unit is OFF and +/- leads attached, turn VOLTAGE to MAX and CURRENT to MIN.Then create a short with the leads (nothing should happen).Turn unit ON - Turn CURRENT to MAX - adjust Voltage to required setting. Current will automatically adjustThis is the process I used. Prior to this the voltage dial wouldn't set and fluctuated wildly from 0-20 V (with no between adjustment) leading me to initially think the unit was faulty.

Great value
Great for money, accurate.Well earthed- I performed a medical grade safety test and it passed all tests. Case definitely well earthed.Cant give long term results but great for price.

Excellent
Got two of those, both work very well in a laboratory setting. The power delivered is steady and we had no issues with it. The dials are precise enough to choose any desirable setting. The display on the newer device is improved and clear.

Good PSU for plating.
Good little PSU and does have the constant current ability. I bought it for plating purposes and works well.

Plugged it in brand new and it spat fire out the vent and burned my wrist
This is the second one I have had now that has failed. The first one just stopped supplying power. It will turn on, do everything that it normally would but the outputs will stay dead, zero volts. This happened after using it less than a dozen times within a months constant use, allthough it had been in the cupboard for over a year - not that should matter at all, but being the nice chap I am I ordered another as it was affordable and the first did initially work very well and was much cheaper than any 30 volt 10 ampere unitThe second one arrived earlier today. I took removed it from the box, had it in my left hand on my lap, plugged the lead in provided and BANG, fire shot out of every hole, burning my arm I may add, and the power for the whole floor went dead. If you look at the photo you can see the fire shot out with so much pressure it forced itself out the screw holes leaving soot marks where the screw were holding the case on!After resetting the electricity breaker I took the attached picture for you to see. Unbelievable. The capacitor was faulty. Looking at how the 3 little silver heat fins are just stuck in there I'm not surprised it shorted out somewhere. But then again the capacitor may of just been inherently faulty.Thank the powers that be they had not saved a fraction of a pence and opted for the cheaper capacity that did not have the 'pressure release' system that this one thankfully did.I haven't contacted Amazon yet, I may follow up this reveiw after I do but I've no doubt they will be brilliant as they allways are with any problems.
