I really love the movie but in this 4K version we cannot play it so we never get to see the deleted or cut scenes.

Picture and sounds clear.

Funny, and I ordered it before. awsome movie

I love physical media and I am always afraid it will go out of "print". I have been burned with streaming in the past when I want to go look for a movie only to find out it is not available. This is a classic and harkens back to a time in Hollywood when they actually made funny stuff and not this woke pandering garbage where they reimagine older movies and make the trash we get today. They used to poke fun at everyone, I miss those simpler times where a minority of people would get offended. I don't think they would get away with making this movie today so buy it and cherish it. John Hughes was the man and I miss the version of America we had that he would depict in his movies instead of the disoptian reality that we enjoy in our current day to day lives.

Very funny and well acted story. Not ever boring to watch.

I want to confirm what some other reviewers have said. This is NOT a review of this movie, only the DVD product. The movie is fantastic and one of my all time favorites. I bought the 4K disc set for all the additional footage. I only have a BluRay player, not a 4K TV. My BluRay player could not read the movie disc. Luckily I had a previous BluRay version to watch the full movie.From what I read here, only this 4K set has the outtakes and additional footage, though. It is on the included second disc. Yes, some of the outtakes were on grainy VHS format, but I still loved them all. There is about an hour's worth of additional material, and is readable by a BluRay player. A lot of scenes do give you a better understanding why certain things were said or done in the movie itself. It was a great backgrounder, and I enjoyed them almost as much as the main movie.Just be aware, if you want to watch the actual movie with this 4K set, you MUST have a 4K TV and 4K DVD player.

After a stroke of random events conspired to have John Candy and Steve Martin sleep on the same bed in a cheap motel; John wakes up whispering in Steve's ear saying that he kept his hands warm between two small pillows. Steve then rolls his eyes wide open and with a facial expression as when one gets a suppository, screams! and says those are not pillows!! They both jump out of bed and whistle their way out as if nothing had happen! I couldn't stop laughing for ten minutes. it was a crack up! the whole movies is like that.

Dentro de la gloriosa filmografía de John Hughes, esta película funge como un cambio en su dirección, al darnos una comedia adulta en el que se entretejen los tópicos familiares, la pérdida y sobre todo la amistad. La conversión a 4K es espectacular, aunque en algunos momentos los rostros se ven demasiado claros, pasando por alto eso es una gran oportunidad para descubrir o redescubrir este clásico de las fiestas navideñas.
