CREOSOTE BUSTER FIRELOG

Excellant product. Takes care of smell after burning logs for a few month. Love it

I bought some of these to clear the creosote from my wood burning stove. In the winter I go through about a cord, maybe 2 of wood. Two to three times each season I burn one of these logs. Very easy. Build a fire and after there is a good coal bed, the stove and chimney are good and hot, put one of these in and light it.It did not seem to do much. Then, I waited for the stove to cool and I opened the front window. The inside of the stove was very clean and the creosote was gone. I could see the creosote all the way up the metal stove pipe had fallen into the stove.These are the best and while one should still pay attention to having a chimney cleaned, these are great to clean out the creosote before the chimney sweep comes along.

I have used my fireplace more this year than ever, although still not on a full-time, everyday basis. I throw one of these in every so often and it seems to be doing the trick.

Can’t afford a chimney sweep, so I’m pinning my hopes on this log to clean my chimney!

Couldn’t find the logs anywhere around here. Wanted to get a head start on cleaning the fireplace. Used one. Easy to use. Will wait until fall to use the other and then call a chimney professional. From everything I have read it makes the chimney sweep’s job easier and therefore cheaper.
