I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality of the J&D audio extension cable give the item's price. The cable itself is made of a pliable plastic material (not stiff) that provides good flexibility for both use and storage. The connectors are high quality gold finish and provide a reassuring 'click' when connected to a mating connector. The connector shells have a glossy finish with the J&D logo printed on them and look very nice. I bought this cable to replace a similar extension cable purchased from Radio Shack some years ago and the quality of the J&D cable is much better (as is the price). The cable provides the high quality audio performance I expect for private listening with headphones when connected to my Yamaha receiver. It also came packaged in a nice reusable plastic bag rather than just a plain plastic bag. Very satisfied with the J&D audio cable...highly recommended!

Needed this cable for my wireless headset that has a base to plug in devices such as an xbox console or piano keyboard or ipad. The base had a 1/8 inch connector and my keyboard had a 1/4 inch output jack. This cable allowed me to connect the two together, it works great. Is made of quality material, I got the six foot cable and is just the right length for my purpose. Shipping was fast.

I’ve only used it once, but it appears to bs a very high quality cable. I’ve already noticed an improvement in sound from my previous one. I use it primarily to connect my in-ear monitors to my headphone amp for practicing drums. Right off the bat I had to roll back the volume. The jacks are heavy duty and solid. Great cable.

I am using this cable to connect the sound card on my home brew PC to headphones. The sound card has a 1/4 inch jack phone out and the phones have a 3.5mm plug. This is one of the few cables that does the job without an adapter for the headphones. Before installing this I used the front panel 3,5mm jack. Honestly there is not much sonic difference, but the front panel wiring is thin and the headphone jack is in a bad spot for cable management. Quick delivery, looks like a well made product

The adapter cable was high quality and works great!I use the cable to plug into my surround sound amp and can plug in my newer headphones which come with a 3.5mm or 1/8" plug.

I'm using a pair of Bowers and Wilkins headphones connected to my Yamaha Montage 8 synth. NO difference in sound compared to not using the cable. I'll look for products from J&D in the future.

From the moment that I opened the zip lock bag I knew that this was a quality product and this was confirmed when I connected the lead to the headphone socket on my Linn preamplifier with a fir reassuring click. Connection of my Flare Audio earphones 3.5mm jack into the female end of the lead was equally positive with none of the looseness that I had with previous extension leads that inevitably resulted in distorted sound. The lead was long and flexible enough for me to sit back comfortably some 2 metres away from the preamplifier without tension on my earphone leads, making for a comfortable and noise free listening experience. It is rare to be able to mix a low cost cable to expensive high end audio equipment without any disc enable loss of listening quality and I therefore have no hesitation in recommending this product without reservation.

The quality of this 3.5mm to 1/4" lead (0.9m) was a very pleasant surprise with a nice solid fit to both my Sennheiser headphones and also into my headphone amp, better still the sound quality is excellent. Compared to my original simple adaptor (no lead) this is a step up in quality as well as giving the extra length I was looking for. Highly recommended.

Fantastic, Can't really say more than that. I have bought lots of J&D cables now and love them.I needed a cable to convert my 3.5mm cable for my headphones into 6.35mm for the phone output on my Mixer and this works a treat.Been on my setup for around 5 months now and hasn't failed me once.

Good price, quality connector. A useful small extension and converter for my headphones (3.5mm) to mixing desk (6.35mm). Although the cable is not that thick, audio quality is good. The stereo jack plug and smaller fenake connector grip well and have a positive connecting action.
